    Hi mate yes it's in full working order and everything works as it should only fault is the missing battery cover underneath but velcro covers that anyway can also check my feed back thread and you will see its all positive 👍

    Selling the above it's in pretty good condition I bought it on here not long ago but its not really what I want it is missing the battery cover underneath it has decent velcro on the bottom looking for what I paid for it so 35 pounds posted UK only would also trade for a digitech bad monkey or something along those lines

    Same problem here finding the same issue with my trusty Jackson But in answer to your question I think jazz style necks are more comfortable to play than a thicker neck I found my l2000 neck to be really chunky

    I think the hotwire gets unsoldered and the red and white go in its place I think it's a series parallel wiring loom like in dimarzio pups but can't really see or even remember atm lol Thinking about it if you find a Wilkinson pickup diagram on line that will tell you as that's what should be in it

    From experience I would say broken socket or its touching something inside the bass therefore creating a circuit

    I was looking at the Osiris thread about pre amp pedals and wondered if there is any benefits of using them with an active bass? or is it a waste on time as there is already an onboard pre amp?

    May be worth pming Osiris he's on the look out for a pre I'm not sure if he has tried an mxr or not Or I might just be chatting bollarks I seem to do that a lot lol

    Oh not personally tried the 2 but it does seem to have much more control over the frequencies than the 1 in the demos that I have seen I was impressed with my HBA 1 and regret moving it on
