  1. Good price compared to the gruv gear ones do you know if they are any good mick
  2. I think ped is after one of these
  3. Wow Tom my old mate you do get through some lovely gear I think you should adopt me and pass it on to me lol
  4. Nice one all the best 👍
  5. I bought a pedal from John it was an easy stress free transaction pedal is in condition as described looking forward to trying it out I would buy from John again he seems like a good bloke
  6. Think a few people have done a bit of pre after looking at your pre lol
  7. Having played one I'd say it pretty much sits as a p or j bass would against the body they sound effing awesome too
  8. After playing with mine a bit I love it and it's simple to use even I can get a sound I really like in a few minutes it's a great set and forget pedal only negative is it draws quite a bit of power so needs a decent psu I was talking to Osiris about it yesterday and we think there must be a bit of digital magic going on in the unit somewhere but could be wrong
  9. Never new such a thing existed looks really cool
  10. Man sorry about the car bill must be a major issue glwts or the lottery whichever comes first
  11. Must not look and definitely not buy as Mrs thunderbird will probably cut off mylove truncheon with a rusty butter knife lol glwts mate
  12. I'd never used stringbusters but agree about shipping from Germany the red labels are still cheaper in gear4music I found but some strings vary as much as 5 or 6 quid a pack now so shopping around is the best option if places only put prices up by 50p or even a quid I would try and stay loyal to one shop but I'm not taking a big hit on a product that's a lot cheaper elsewhere sad but true
  13. Strings direct always used to be great price wise but sadly not anymore for me at least but in all fairness prices have gone up lots everywhere on certain items
  14. Drive sounds very disappointing from your experience I would of thought it would be really good at the price it is
  15. I won't be doing it did one before ages ago and got about 3 million spam emails a week stopped watching him on YouTube also he's a great bass player but just talks to much BS and stuff and plugs his academy about every 2 seconds I understand it's his living but it puts people off too much overkill imo
  16. Behringer recently bought tc electronic and apparently they are are modified Behringer circuits in tc electronic enclosures I watched about it on the jhs pedal show on YouTube brilliant channel and worth a look
  17. Agreed full of fakes and I don't really like amazon's business practices so don't use them anyway back on topic if I buy strings I normally use gear4music or maybe dv247 but Google is a good option as prices really vary from shop to shop I'm using warwick red label bass strings and I like them just shy of 9 quid a set and last pretty well and sound good to me
  18. Man if only it had the 1971 strings lol glwts
  19. Above my pay grade but the demos I have seen for this look great and you can edit stuff in the pedal from the pc which is beyond me but looks really cool glwts
  20. There's lots of people who built pedals on here there's a thread in the effects section that might be useful to you
  21. Used to have music on all day everyday but now it's only in the car or on the pc haven't had a hifi system set up for god knows how long I try and follow newer metal bands but also go back to the stuff from the 70s to early 2000s
  22. Good point I really should make time to learn how to use it 👍
  23. I've been curious about the drive too but have enough drives and I'm only a bedroom warrior Be cool to know how long your battery lasts glad you like the pedal though 👍
  24. Well I think when the wallet is a bit healthier the next purchases will be a couple of TC pedals the blood moon phaser and the thunderstorm flanger they seem to be good value and have plenty of positive reviews may also try one of the chorus pedals dannybouy suggested at a later date 👍
