I made a fandangled contraption involving some old computer floppy disks I wasn't using. If you tape two of them together, they create just enough clearance for the velcro to stick to the board unaffected by the feet. If you take another two disks and turn them sideways, you should, with a bit of maneuvering, be able to fit both sets of floppy disks in between the four feet, and then tape them to the pedal. I removed the bottom plate, wrapped velco around the disks, and then wrapped the velcro round the bottom plate, and screwed the plate back on. This locks the velcro between the plate and the pedal on both sides, meaning it can't go loose. Sounds like a lot of work, but it's actually a quick and easy fix, and works fantastically well.
