  1. Great board man! You've got me thinking about a bigger Metro now...my Metro16 is just slightly too small!
  2. Ah! How did I miss that? It's not like I've had one on my board for the last 4 years...
  3. I haven't tried this, but don't see why it wouldn't work. You don't need to control all 3 volumes, just match 2 to the other, so in theory a Boss LS-2 could be used? Bass 1 goes into the Input Jack Basses 2 and 3 go into the A and B Return jacks, set the volumes of each to match the first bass. Granted you would have to change the LS-2 setting to access all 3 basses, for example setting it to A<->B would switch between basses 2 and 3, but then with a twist of the Mode knob you could set it from A<->Bypass, giving you bass 1 when bypassed and bass 2 when engaged?
  4. Standard up/down sweep, and step filter/auto-wah all in one box. Really squelchy too.
  5. I have the normal Prometheus and it's awesome. Really versatile. I've used the Prom DLX and I have the Quasar DLX (Same idea but a Phaser) and it is VERY cool. Lots of tonal variation, and different kinds of filters etc. Great pedal!
  6. Any top bass player list that makes no mention of Pino can be safely ignored
  7. For Sale or Trade we have here a Pedaltrain PT2. Included is the PT2 itself (used), the softcase (in as new condition), and it has the power supply mounting brackets that were installed by the previous owner. I've never used it since I had it - bought the board used on its own and managed to source a brand new softcase from elsewhere. It can be picked up from Chingford NE London or posted - you pay for postage. It also comes in it's original box. £65 (plus postage if required). Tradewise smaller boards like a Metro 20/24 would be great. Thanks for looking.
  8. Sorry to see they didn't fit on the bass after all. Any prospective buyers hesitate not - they are in great condition and ead is a great guy to deal with!
  9. Up for sale is my Darkglass VMT pedal. Just don't use it any more as I have the same sounds in my Darkglass Amp. In good used condition, with original box. No issues. Will take better pics if needed, but you can see it on my board here: £130 incl postage. Not looking for trades really. Thanks!
  10. Dimarzio Model P - You'll thank me later! Between my Dad and myself we have 4 JV Precisions. Dimarzios in all of them!
  11. The mid 2012 Macbook Pro I mentioned earlier is the last model with user serviceable RAM. The models with Retina screens are soldered in,
  12. Steve here is my old man, and we were discussing his options earlier and I made the same suggestion Dan. To be honest I think he just doesn't need the power! While it's a cracking amp (and paired with the HDN410 he is selling - Absolute POWERHOUSE of a rig) it's just too much for what he needs. A small 2x10 combo would suit his requirements, and so the big rig is up for sale. If I had the cash I'd have it!
  13. As a student, I'd think portability was probably essential? I have a mid 2012 13" Macbook Pro which you could probably get on eBay for around £500ish I would imagine, i7 processor, 8GB of RAM, 750GB HDD. I did the upgrades mentioned above and haven't looked back. I replaced the CD Drive with a 2TB HDD in for storage, and replaced the original HDD with an SSD. Works a charm! Upgraded it to 16GB of RAM at the same time. Granted I spent about £350 on the upgrades, but I went with a 1TB SSD and a 2TB HDD which rapidly drove up the price. To keep the cost down, you could leave the RAM at 8GB for now (I bought my laptop in June 2012, as soon as it was released and only upgraded the RAM last year) and just grab a 128/256GB SSD for it. Replace the internal drive with the SSD and put the old HDD where the CD drive. You can find the parts and tutorials online - I did the upgrades myself in about 20 minutes! As a bonus, you can buy a little optical drive USB enclosure and pop your old CD drive in it so that you don't lose the ability to read or write CDs! If you shopped about I reckon you could get a top spec laptop for about £600-650. Hope this helps!
  14. Last chance to buy the 5 String before I withdraw it!
  15. If you can, grab a Boss FT-2. Can usually be found for around £40-50 second hand, and it's a really great filter!
  16. Alex bought my Epifani cab, and arranged postage to Hungary etc, I didn't have to lift a finger! Highly recommended. Enjoy the cab Alex!
  17. Had one of these years ago. So good I bought the 5 string version too! Excellent value for money these are. Whoever buys it won't be disappointed. Have a free bump on me!
