1. How has this not gone? I have too many 5 string J basses at it is, otherwise I'd have pulled the trigger long ago. Please someone take this soon so I can stop looking at it!
2. Bought a REDDI from Roman. Pleasure to deal with, product as described, in full working order. Highly rated for sure. Thanks again pal!
3. I've got one of these, and it's a hell of a cab! Bargain!
4. It's not necessarily on other loopers. Definitely works with the Boss though!
5. You could pick up a couple of Boss LS-2s fairly cheaply, and get a DI Box with a 'Thru' out and you won't need a splitter after the Meatbox. LS-2 set to A<->B for switching between Synth and Bass, with a Volume control for each instrument, and then another one after your FX set to A+B Mix, and have the post-DI wet Meatbox signal into the Return of Loop A, then the Dry output run through the rest of your FX into Loop B Return, and use the volume knobs to blend to your liking.
6. The Xotic X-Blender has a Phase Invert switch too. With the big Blend knob, adjustments with your feet are possible. It also has a 2 Band EQ and a boost switch, and a seperate footswitch to go from blended to 100% wet. Very useful pedal.
7. I assumed that too. You have to have it hooked up to the amp.
8. Russ bought my Tonehammer 500. He drove to my door, we had a nice chat, and paid cash. The perfect buyer - enjoy your amp mate!
9. Traded my PT-JR and Mono case with Al. Top bloke!
10.
How are you finding the Darkglass? I wondered whether you tried the Bergantino B|Amp as you have their cabs?
I'm loving it. I've only done a couple gigs with it (both of which were fairly small so didn't really get to crank it) but my initial reaction is that it is superb. I've never used/tried the B|Amp sorry!
11. PT-2 added!
12. Wow - How things have changed since 2009! 15. My Squier JVs: My Shuker P5: Don't know if this counts as it's more a Jazz with a Precision pickup but here it is anyway…Sadowsky RV5 P/J:

17. Mini rig: Darkglass Microtubes 900 - Bergantino AE210 Main and backup heads with my 2 main cabs. The Epifani will shortly be going into the van for my function band, leaving me with the Bergantino AE410 and 210s as my main gigging setups. All 3 cabs just for the hell of it
18. Here's my little family: L-R we have - Sadowsky RV5 P/J - 2007 Ltd Edition Dargie Delight Stingray 5 Fretless - Modulus Flea J5 - Shuker Precision 5 L-R 1982 Fender Squier JV Precision - 1982 Squier by Fender JV Precision - Shuker Jazz 4 - Shuker Jazz 5
19. As an 83 model, shouldn't the headstock have a big 'Squier by Fender' logo?
20. Cloth wiring was standard in all JV basses to my knowledge.
21. Glad you're happy with it mate! It's a fantastic amp and as I said, I wouldn't have sold it in an ideal world! The Darkglass head just seems to fit more with what I need at the moment, have the overdrive channel built in etc. As mentioned here, Bergantino are a particularly good match for it cab-wise, the AE410 and TH500 has been my main gigging rig for quite a while. Also had epic results with my Epifani UL410. If I can give you one piece of advice, play around with the Drive control. It's not just for dialing in dirt. As you start turning it up, it starts to make the Gain and EQ section interact with each other a little differently than when it was off/on a lower setting. So once you turn it up a bit, have a fiddle with the Gain and EQ. You can get some really awesome tones that way.
