1. Picked it up yesterday and its awesome! Well chuffed.
2.
I used a Chevin A3000 (bridged at 3Kw into 8 ohms) into and Eden 410xlt when I was younger. Obv I never turned it up full, but the headroom, low frequency extension and general grunt was a thing of joy. What a machine.
A1000 here. With the Avalon U5 into either an Epifani UL410 or Berg AE410. Sounds amazing!
3. I've always interpreted it as somewhere between staccato and full value. You can usually 'feel' where the note should end, to give the next note it's full attack.
4. Got a Nordstrand in mine. The thing sounds great!!
5. Looks like this one is coming home with me folks!
6. Depends on the user I guess! It's never been a problem for me.
7. You can go down on the FI by double tapping the program up switch. Double tap and hold for fast scrolling downwards.
8. Cannot believe how cheap this is. If I didn't already have a TH500 and DB750, this would be at my house by now! Seriously great amp there at an absolute STEAL of a price. I only sold my AG500 because I got the DB750, otherwise I'd still have it now.
9.
Thanks! Btw, which MIDI cables are you using? They look nice and compact. Could not find one of those yet.
I got them from the GigRig site!
10. Lee is a top guy to deal with folks. Great bit of kit at a great price too. Good luck with the sale pal.
11.
Nice board! Question - Are you using the FI for both keyboard and bass? Both plugged in at once?
Thanks mate! Yeah both at once. Only playing one at a time though...I'm no Geddy Lee!
12. Whammy and Echo Park sold!
13. Thanks mate. It's a GigRig QuarterMaster 6. I use the 6th loop just as a send to the tuner so it acts like a Mute switch. Although had the idea of using the output of the tuner and and the return on the QM6 like a patch point so I can insert a PT Nano with all my modulation on!
14. My new board, having just received the Future Impact. Today was the first time I've been able to mess about with the software editor, and triggering it via Keyboard, but I have to say - VERY cool. They've knocked it out of the park with this one. Barely even touched the surface of what this unit can do. MIDI cable for plugging in my keyboard controller: Underneath you can see I've connected some short MIDI cables from TheGigRig so that I never have to detach it from the board for any reason. I've taped the MIDI in cable that will be used most often to the side of the board so it sits just out of the way but is easily accessible. The MIDI Out cable is only needed for downloading sounds and firmware so isn't used live. Got 6 days to get all my patches in order and songs learned, and then off I go!
15. I was looking for a Future Impact pedal. Darren sent me a message telling me he had one for sale, in great condition, and at a good price. Great communication, and everything was safely packed and as described. Top man!
16. Werner was the perfect gentleman during our transaction. Prompt payment and excellent communication. International deals don't come any easier than with this guy! Top marks pal. Thanks again and enjoy your Stingray!
17. That's all I needed to know. Thanks very much for your help mate!
18.
The way I understand it, is that you use the midi controller to drive the synth and the output comes from the audio output that you would plug into the amp. In and out only need to be used when using the editor - this seems to be confirmed here - http://www.soundonso...i-future-impact Annoyingly, the MIDI input doesn't seem to allow for patch changes, only note trigger and firmware update.
Thanks, that was helpful to read!
Sounds a good idea - I'll try it at home tonight and report back.
Excellent, thanks mate!
19. Can anyone with one of these tell me - If using with a MIDI Controller, do you have to use the MIDI output? Or can you plug a MIDI Keyboard into the input, then take the normal jack out and run through an amp?
20. FINAL FINAL BUMP BEFORE WITHDRAWALS AND EBAY
21. If I was you I'd run the bass you want effected into the the effects in question, then into Loop A Return on the LS2, and the clean bass into Loop B Return, then set the LS2 to A<->B mode so it just switches between either the dirty bass and the clean bass, and you have a volume control for each. Or do you want to be able to bypass the dirty bass effects and have both basses clean?
