This looks great!

Looks great! Really cool features. What’s the price going to be?
-
Thanks mate! It gave me many a headache planning it out and putting the bloody thing together, so glad to see it’s appreciated by someone else 😅 Definitely happy with what i’ve managed to cram on to it. Bit heavier than I thought it would be, but that’s not really a problem as it will eventually go in a wheeled peli case anyway. The Morningstar stuff is phenomenal. That ML10X looks awesome. Looking forward to snagging one of them at some point!

Hi all, I recently bought these to try, but they're just not my cup of tea as I'm used to the lower tension of the TI flats! They sounded amazing on the one gig I did with them, but I just can't get used to the feel as I've been playing TIs for so long. They're cut for 4 over 1 headstock with a full couple of winds per tuning peg so should fit any 34" scale bass with that headstock and tuner arrangement (I had them on my Sadowsky P5). Literally put them on, played one gig, and took them off again - so pretty much as new as you can get without being fresh out the pack as far as flatwounds go. These are £84.99 from Strings Direct - So how about £45 posted.

Hi all, up for sale is my Origin Effects 64 Black Panel BassRIG pedal. It's seen a couple of gigs (always on, never stomped on!) but is in as new condition, save for the velcro applied to the back. I'm the first owner and I bought it brand new, direct from Origin so it comes with the box and manual too. I've decided to go in a slightly different direction gear-wise and this is surplus to requirements. It's a great pedal that I would love to keep around, however the money could be better spent (I want more pedals, but the missus is insisting I put it towards the wedding!) It's a heavy beast so postage will be a little more than your average pedal, but I'm happy to split the cost of that with you if you meet my asking price. As always, collection is welcome from Windsor, or I'm constantly travelling for gigs so happy to drop it in en route if you live nearby. My gigs this week (Thurs-Sunday) take me to Torquay, Hayes, Newport and Lincoln. Cheapest I can find brand new is DV247 at £377. So save yourself just over £60 on an essentially brand new pedal. Thanks for reading!

Another change up from me. Swiss army essentials board that can (and will, eventually) link up to the Schmidt Array studio board with everything else on it. The plan is to acquire a Morningstar ML10X for the Schmidt Array, as I already own the MC8. That will link up with this board via the magic of TRS/MIDI giving me total preset/patch control of every pedal on each board. Bass > Morningstar ML5 > HX Stomp (with Bright Onion Aux switch) > Khan VTDI ML5 Loops are as follows: A > Peterson StrobostompHD B > Aguilar Octamizer C > Origin Cali76 (running at 18v) D > Hamstead Subspace E > TRS splitter cable MIDI Chain - Out of HX Stomp > IN of ML5 (Eventually the MIDI IN of HX Stomp will connect to the MOD Patchbay - More on that later) The MOD Patchbay on the Rockboard is where my dual board fantasy comes to life 🤣i All are TRS inputs/outputs so this makes a lot of what I want to do possible, with just a few cables. A - Input from Bass to the ML5 B - Will eventually run a TRS to 5 Pin MIDI cable to the MIDI In of the Stomp. There will be a corresponding cable on the Schmidt too, which is connected to the MC8/ML10X combo so when the boards are connected with a TRS cable, it will allow the MC8 to talk to the ML10X, ML5 and HX Stomp, yet when disconnected the Stomp will just control the ML5. C - Haven't decided what this will be used for yet D - Connects to the TRS Splitter cable in Loop E of the ML5. Another of these on the TRS Patchbay on the Schmidt Array will allow me to patch the whole Schmidt Array board into loop E of the ML5 with a single TRS cable. E - 1/4" Out from the Khan VTDI to Amp XLR - DI Out from the Khan VTDI to Mixing Desk Here is a pic of the underside for good measure. Power is split at the MOD, one goes direct to the Khan, the other to the Generator. Distributor is powering the Temple Audio USB Adaptor, the GigRig Doubler for the Cali76, the Isolator and the Stomp (just awaiting a GigRig Mr Universe to power the Stomp, and we're good to go!) and the Isolator is powering the Subspace, Octamizer, ML5 and StrobostompHD. Distributor also has a spare 9v out hanging loose (seen hanging from the bottom of the board in this pic) which charges my Bluetooth footswitch for my iPad.

Could you not use one of these on one of the 9v outputs? https://www.hotroxuk.com/gigrig-supa-nova-9-12v-dc-adapter.html?utm_source=GoogleBase&utm_medium=organic&gclid=Cj0KCQjw9ZGYBhCEARIsAEUXITWMZsG-xwcn7q05Bhsfxw-g27rfnWFeHeclKBBb7cSOYoMjdXA6-1caAuzGEALw_wcB

Another change up for me. First gig with it tomorrow. LS-2 acting as a tuner mute with Turbo Tuner on send of B Octamizer>Cali76>BassRig>Khan VTDI Cali76 running at 18V. IEC splitter sends power to the Khan and the GigRig Generator which powers the rest of the pedals. Khan’s DI out goes to the Rockboard XLR patch input, and the Thru jack goes to one of the 1/4” outputs if I need to use an amp. Temple USB adaptor for charging my iPad, and a spare 9v out (hanging loose at the bottom of the 2nd pic) for charging my bluetooth page turner. BassRig will pretty much just be an OD/Amp sim, but also function as a backup DI if needed.

Literally bought this on here last week. It’s a great pedal, the tracking is a massive improvement on Boss’ last offering, but it’s just not for me. I prefer my Octamizer. As new, showroom condition. Original box, manual, etc. Not a blemish on it, no velcro applied etc. Looking to get back exactly what I paid, which was £90 posted.

What’s the price on these?
-
I've already got the ML5 and an MC8....Maybe if I sell the ML5, one of these IS in my future after all! 🤣
-
Was waiting for this for ages. Scaled my board down now so it's of little to no use 🤣 Still looks like it will do everything I've wanted in a small loop switcher! What are your initial impressions of it?
-
Selling this for my dad! 800 Watts of Fender-y goodness, in a nice light package. Nice amp in excellent condition! Here's the link to Fender's website with all the specs etc: https://www.fender.com/en-GB/bass-amplifiers/pro-tube/bassman-800-head/2249706000.html From a quick Google search, the cheapest I could see new was from DV247 at £1039. So save yourself £240 on a great condition used amp. *Price Drop - £750* Pickup from Brentwood, or postage available at buyer's expense. Alternatively I gig all over the country so let me know where you are and maybe I can drop it in en route! Cheers

Nice! I notice you've assigned one of the Stomp's switches to the loop that the SY-1 is in. Personally, I'd leave the loop on all the time, and turn the SY-1 on and off with it's own switch, thereby freeing up one of the Stomp's switches.

I also kept a dedicated octave pedal on the board as I found the octave in the Stomp to be lacking. However I didn't do much experimenting, as I had the Octamizer there already and decided it was easier to use that than hunt through every setting in the Stomp to try and find something as good as what I already had 🤣

My Stomp is happily powered from a GigRig Generator - as well as the rest of my board!

I've been thinking myself that it's a little tight for me. I've got everything I need on there really, but it's always tempting to add more! Just SLIGHTLY bigger would be perfect I think (famous last words) I also want to try and fit it into my Peli Storm IM2500 (which it does perfectly, the 3.1 would be too big) so that's another reason to keep to this size. Dreaming of the day when I can walk into the gig with the bass on my back, 4u shallow rack in one hand (wireless iems, wireless bass, power condititioner and distribution) and a Peli case on wheels in the other with my pedalboard, IEMs, Backbeats, iPad etc!
