Here we have a literally showroom condition Vanderkley 212NMT. 4ohms, comes with Vanderkley padded cover. I'm lucky in that my Dad has a 78 Pre EB so even if I needed one I've got access to the real deal! I'll still miss these though. Lovely basses.

No actually they are both relatively light! EDIT: Just weighed them and they both weigh around 8.75lbs

Current Status: Fretless - Traded Fretted - SOLD! Here I have two matching EBMM Stingrays, only about 300 or so apart Serial Number-wise, from 1989. They are both Trans Red with Transparent Pickguards. The fretted has a wonderful Birdseye Maple Neck and Fingerboard, with some stunning figuring. It is a 2 Band EQ model. It has the Bridge with the original foam mutes. I added a Hipshot Detuner, but still have the original tuning peg. The bass is in overall fairly decent condition. You can tell it's been used, but still pretty clean overall! The fretless also has a Birdseye Maple Neck, but an unlined Pau Ferro Fingerboard. The fretless also has the foam mutes on the Bridge. It has a 3 Band EQ which I think is nicer for the fretless as you get more control over the mids. I have installed a Nordstrand MM4.2, but have the original pickup here. The bass is probably overall in better condition than the fretted, but both are in excellent condition for 27 year old instruments. Both basses sound and play great, look amazing, are in excellent overall condition for their age, and both come with their respective hard cases. The fretless has it's original hard case, the fretted will come with a newer style EBMM hard case. I don't really want to sell these, as they hold great sentimental value to me, being fantastic instruments, and being made the same year as I was. It's also quite cool to note that I didn't purchase these as a pair, but 2 years apart, one from here in London, the other from the US, so they had quite a journey to be reunited after being built at the same time, 22 years previously! Although I love them, I do a lot of reading gigs and function stuff and really only ever play my 5 strings now, so they just don't get played. I also have another Nordstrand MM4.2 pickup I bought but never got round to installing in the fretted. It is brand new, I'd be willing to throw it in for an extra £50 (They are around £90 new I believe?). I'd be looking for £1000 each +£50 for the additional Nordstrand pickup. If you want both basses I'd do the lot for £1850. Whilst there is definitely room to haggle, I'm not going to let them go for stupid money. Would be open to trades too. I used to use that exact same rig (except I had an AG500SC) including the same finish. Great rig especially at that price.
