1. Anyone interested in a Barefaced Bass "Big One" Cab? It's a really light, absolute powerhouse of a cab, containing a 15" speaker, and a 6" driver for the midrange (with a studio quality crossover inside) and all handmade in the UK. This cab will literally take any amp you throw at it, laugh at you for worrying if it could handle it, and then spit out the most beautiful bass tone as a result. It has wheels on the back at the bottom, and a handle on top so you can drag it round like a suitcase, plus handles on the side. You can literally lift it over your head, it's that light. Its 8ohms by the way, and comes with a RoqSolid cover, that is black with blue piping. It's in pretty decent condition, I'd say 8.5-9/10, pics to follow shortly. Bought it about 5 months ago on here, used it on 2 gigs, then went away for 3.5 months, and haven't used it since I've been back, so hoping to get back what I paid for it, which was £450. I'll do it for a little less if you collect, but meet up somewhere in Essex/East London would be preferred! Cheers
2. Nah I'm sure he used to use Spector basses in the early days. That's what his rig looked like in 1989 I guess?
3. Really looking forward to playing them proper next week
4. Bought tickets for the old man and I for Saturday. Hopefully get a chance to meet some new faces!
5. Just for some additional info - Those worrying about buying batteries for the rest of your life for the Mutron III, pick up 2 Virtual Batteries from the GigRig, and they can be wired up internally to accept a standard 9V Daisy Chain. That's what I did with mine and I haven't looked back.
6.
sell the korg then get the polytune mini, problem solved. :-p
Oops misread this the first time as "get the pitch black". The PolyTune Mini is a nice idea, I'll have to have a think on it
7. I vote you go for the PT Mini option, then sell me your PT Nano. (All jokes aside if you have one to sell, I'll take it )

SOLD

As Steve's son, I have the privilege of playing this bass whenever I want and it is a stunner. Sad to see it up for sale if I'm honest! Whoever picks this up is getting a fantastic example of an early 70's jazz!
9. I just got home last week, yeah it was scorching every day! Much too cold for my liking over here! Don't worry, I think I drank enough rum punch for everyone on BassChat I wouldn't be selling the cabs if I had a use for them - they're the best sounding cabs I've ever had. Just no need for them currently. If I'm ever in the position in the future where I need a big rig, I'll be trying to buy a pair of these again for definite.
10. The Fiesta Red Super P 5 Prototype I played in the Bass Gallery this time last year (and met Sheldon in the process - lovely guy) is one of the only basses I've ever played that I would have walked away with right there and then given the cash, no matter how much it cost. Absolutely incredible instrument!
11.
Bottom one, easy Get that Stache in the Fuzzrocious porn section (Effects) Si
The Grey Stache is cool, different beast to the Oxide. Both have their charms and uses! Not used the GS live yet though, so the second board will probably stay like this. Although I did just rig it up as Octamizer>Oxide>Subdecay Prometheus>Quasar DLX which is quite cool. Looks like I'm gonna need another Nano
sell the korg then get the polytune mini, problem solved. :-p
Nice idea but when you take into account the Pitch Black has it's jacks on the side, and the rest of the pedals on the board have top mounted jacks, it doesn't actually save any space! Plus mine has blue LEDs so it improves the tone drastically - Even if it is on the Tuner Out of my Sadowsky Pre-Amp
12. Decisions, decisions! ORRRR???
13. Bump. Open to trades on any of it, not necessarily all together. Lemme see what you got, worst I can do is say no!
14. For £850 at the Bass Gallery, you will be £15 short of buying just one DB212 on it's own. For £850 here you get, a DB212, with it's official Aguilar padded cover...Accompanied by another DB212 + cover...and a spare Aguilar speaker. Oh and don't forget the castors for both cabs too, which have to be bought separately when buying new. You can't tell me thats not a fantastic deal!
15. Bump for pics. This is a great price for 2 AWESOME cabs. Why the pics are sideways, I don't know!
16. HomefromtheCaribbean Bump. £850 picked up, for 2 600watt, 2x12 cabs. Bargain.
17. I'm feeling generous, so £925 takes em Also i forgot to mention, they are both 8ohm.
18. Currently in the Caribbean so I can't do a proper FS ad, but these were up a few months ago and the post has been deleted. 2 chocolate thunder cabs in good condition with official aggie padded covers, and casters, and a spare Aguilar driver in the unlikely event you blow one. [s]£900[/s] £850 picked up ONO, or plus postage. As I said I'm in the Caribbean for another 3 weeks, so wouldn't be able to ship them till then, but my dad is home so I can arrange for you to pick them up. Picking up messages can be a bit sporadic so if you don't hear back from me for a couple of days don't be alarmed. Cheers PICS ADDED IN POST 6
