Pretty fantastic day to be honest. I was meant to be going back on a Cruise ship for 4 weeks from the 19th, going round the Med, and back in time for Xmas...Then I got a call asking if I wanted to go on another ship, leaving in a week's time to go to the Caribbean until February 15th. Pretty chuffed to be honest

I still have my Mutron, because for me it's unique. I do agree though, it's definitely not the most practical filter for a live application. In all the time I've had it (probably 4 years or so) I've never gigged it. I'd keep it if I were you - Unless you're desperate for the cash. The longer you hold on to it, the more it'll be worth!

How much would it cost me to get you back down to 6, and sell me one of the Japanese OctaveR ones?

I got Dynamo to come round and fix it using his Voodoo. ...Just kidding, it's stuff called Pedalboard Tape, and it's strong as F*ck. I can lift the board and shake it around by the power supply alone!

You don't lose your original tone at all. It just whacks 2 filters going in opposite directions, and you choose how much of each you want It almost sounds like there is a built in blend to me, as I can always hear my clean tone with it. Not sure if that's what's going on, but whatever it is doing, it works!

Just got my second Nano today, so while it's not wired up yet, this is what it will look like: Aguilar Octamizer > Iron Ether Oxide > Aguilar Filter Twin > Subdecay Quasar DLX > SFX MicroThumpinator There is no power supply, as I will only ever use the board in conjunction with my first board seen here, which is powered by a Johnnyshredfreak/Diago Power Supply: (Signal chain is Sadowsky Pre Amp/DI (Korg DT-10BK on the Tuner Out) > Aguilar TLC > Darkglass B3K) There is a spare power output on the daisy chain you can see hiding beside the B3K, this connects to the second board's daisy chain. I've always liked the idea of a Modular rig, taking a different amount of cabs to suit the gig, so why not have a couple of small pedalboards using the same approach? I used to have a big Pedaltrain 2 with everything on it, then realised I wasn't using half of it, so scaled down to this Pedaltrain Jr: I soon realised that with the variety of gigs I do, there's no point in me taking a Fuzz and Octaver to EVERY gig, as half the time they are just not needed. So I decided to get a Pedaltrain Nano with just the bare essentials on it that will come with me to every gig, then another for the group of effects I'm most likely to need after that. I'm thinking of putting another together with more modulation and a couple of delays on it when I get time/money, but for now, these are what will be used on most of my gigs.

The Chorus appears to have a 2 Band EQ. Nice touch. I've been pretty impressed with the MXR Bass offerings. Although I'm a firm lover of the Octamizer, TLC, and Filter Twin, the MXR Comp, Octaver and Envelope Filter are all GREAT pedals, and if I couldn't use the Aguilar pedals, they're what I'd go for.

I'm completely baffled by the Soulless comment. Anything with Chuck Rainey on it definitely cannot be called soulless

Why not "spend ages working it out"? You'll do yourself a world of good, and you'll feel better at the end knowing you did it by yourself and didn't have to rely on incorrect internet tablature.

I will never EVER tire, of listening to any of their songs. Every album to me is a work of art. For me they are right up in the top 5 artists of all time.

Just had an update from Mr Shuker - The body is done and routed, and the basecoat has been sprayed and flatted. Next job will be spraying the Olympic white! The neck has been sawn and routed for the truss rod and carbon fibre channels. Fretboard still needs to be made and glued. Pictures of the body before the Olympic White goes on should be with me soon!

I own the TLC, Octamizer, and Filter Twin, and I haven't had any trouble regarding headroom!

That's funny, when I kick the Octaver on with my Filter Twin, getting off from the bass is exactly what I do!
