1. You know what, that is a brilliant idea that I hadn't even thought of. Thank you sir! Man, I love BassChat!
2. Well that's the thing, I don't mind the 3EQ, but I'd like to try the 2EQ in the fretless to satisfy my inner Pino! I have a 2EQ fretted in the same colour, both from the same month and year, so I'd like them to match. I don't see how adding a 3 way blade switch would be less hassle, or less likely to affect resale value - I would have thought that was more invasive than simply adding a rotary knob where the input jack would be on the control plate. I'm really not gonna be selling it I don't think, as it's an awesome bass, and it's from my birth year Thanks for your post though, I'm fairly sure the Pickup Coil option will be what I go for, just thought I'd open it up for discussion as there is bound to be other options I haven't thought of!
3. I'm trying to decide what to do with the EQ on my fretless musicman. It currently has a 3EQ but i would like to put a 2EQ on it. The problem is with a 3EQ that the jack is on the side of the body rather than on the front like the 2EQ. If I were to put a 2EQ on it, what could i do with the remaining side jack hole? I was thinking perhaps of turning it into a direct out XLR, like on a Wal, but I'm also tempted to keep the side jack and replace the front jack with a rotary knob that would select different pick up coil options like on a Stingray 5. Opinions?
4. Firstly, thanks very much! I'm no Photoshop guru, I just find ways to do what I want! Yes I'm aware of the site! Last time I went on there the pedal selection wasn't very good, and while it's a cool idea, it was useless to me for the actual pedals I use. So I decided to create my own ones from scratch - I was bored, so it killed a few hours, and ended up being somewhat productive anyway. So now all that's left is to plan out my other couple of boards, makes those pedals, and arrange them all to fit. Good times!
5. My MM Fretless is a 3EQ, thinking about swapping it out for a 2EQ - What should I do to the remaining side Jack socket? Have it filled in? Or something fancy? An XLR like on a Wal for instance
6. Thanks man Took me the best part of 2 nights to finish that!
7. I decided that if I'm going to use multiple PT Nanos, it would be best to make some digital mockups of the proposed boards using accurate to scale images to make sure everything fits. So I spent the last couple of nights taking measurements of my pedals and creating them from scratch in Photoshop - Dimensions-wise everything is 100% to scale, although some of the labels on the pedals are out of place, and incorrect fonts used etc. Here's the result of my first attempt - My Bare Essentials board. And Here is the real thing!
8.
The increasingly limited floor space I have at gigs has forced me to scaled down from a Pedaltrain Mini to a Nano. Now all I have is the bare essentials to play the songs in our set-list.
A fellow nano brother! Nice little board that. The Analogman is just the BEST chorus, isn't it?
Updated pics... Couple of small tweaks... Aguilar Octamizer now providing my sub tone. Polytune Mini added as well.
Looking good Shep - Glad the Octamizer is working well for you. I love mine! But man, just LOOKING at your board makes my back ache
9. You've been selling more stuff than you've been buying recently Kev - Are you feeling OK?
10. I'll give you a fiver for it Steve is a top bloke to deal with folks, and this is a GREAT pedal. Wouldn't be without mine. Good price too.
11. I literally saw this the minute the ad was put up and thought "that's a great price, this won't last long".

Amp Blown?

Not with a knackered Power Amp, no!
14.
Hi Fred, How heavy is this thing? I've already got a Matamp 2x12, but more cabs never hurt anyone...
I would also be interested in finding out the weight of this beast..

Amp Blown?

Basically it means the only bit that works on it, is the input and tone controls. The bit that amplifies it, and the bit that reproduces that (the speaker) is buggered. As for the second half of your post, I personally don't think it would be worth it due to cost and effort, and it being a Behringer so probably isn't that well made on the whole. Just my opinion though!
16. "Now on eBay" type bump.
17. Cheers mate! Yup, it's a corker of a bass, I'm just not into Rosewood so much any more!
18. Wow. If the NYC models are THAT much better, I'm apprehensive to try one - I got enough GAS for a Metro!
19. In my opinion, they are worth every penny. Whether you feel they are good value for money will depend entirely on you playing one. The only reason I haven't got one is because I can't afford it!
20. Sadowsky Metros are amongst the finest basses I've ever played, and I own 3 Musicman basses, and my Dad has some vintage Fender too. They are AWESOME.
