1. Brand new unopened set of Green Neon DR 5 string 45-125 guage. Got a set that is surplus to requirements, so I thought I'd put them up for sale here. Brand new they are £44.95 from stringsdirect, so £35 + £2 for next day Special Delivery. Cheers
2. Yeah, I never got to try it with a Stingray, but with the Yamaha I had at the time, it sounded ace.
3. I had an Original GuvNor which was awesome - Don't know about the newer one though. Timmy C from RATM used the original one on the first RATM album with a Stingray, so that could be a good place to start looking!
4. Pedaltrain and Noisebox provisionally traded.
5.
I've got an Oxide and Xerograph up for sale if you want to spend some of the proceeds of this sale!
Trying to raise the funds for another bass from this sale, but if I have anything left over I may be in touch
6. Ok up for sale/trade is the following: Item - Description - Price - Condition ?/10 Pedaltrain PT-2 - Softcase version with velcro attached - £90. 10/10. *TRADED* Tonefactor Analogue Filter 442 Red - The Bass version of the popular DOD 440 clone from Tonefactor/MojoHand (An early version of the Boomstick Bottom Feeder). Velcro on the bottom, in original box - £50. 9/10 (No damage to the finish, print is a little tatty, nothing major).*SOLD* Subdecay Noise Box - Chaotic Fuzzy Synthy madness in a box! Like a more extreme/versatile Prunes and Custard. Half the size too. It's an excellent pedal, but I just don't use it. Pedalboard tape on the bottom, with original box and manual printout - £75. 10/10. *TRADED* Digitech WH-1 - Now, this pedal is broken. It worked when I bought it, and I don't know what happened - One day it just didn't power up or pass signal. Could be an easy fix for someone who know's what they're doing, but I never bothered to get it fixed as I didn't use it anyway. Not sure what to ask for this, but working ones generally go for around £400, so lets say offers around £200? Velcro on the bottom, no box or manual. Can include a Maplins power supply for an extra £10. Really heavy though so will add considerably to the shipping. 6/10 (bit banged up - I would guess it's about 15-20 years old) Loopmaster 5 Loop strip with Master Bypass - Cool loop strip with different colour LEDs for each loop and a Master Bypass for Bypassing all loops without turning each loop on or off, eg you have Fuzz in one loop, Filter in another, and Chorus in another that you need to activate all at the same time. Turn each loop on and activate the Master Bypass, you will get just your clean sound. When you need all 3 effects turn the MB switch off, and boom - all your effects on with one switch. This is MINT condition. I bought it from someone who didn't use it, intending to use it on my guitar board that I never actually put together, so it's just sat under my bed since. I've never even passed a signal through it I don't think. I plugged the power in to make sure the LED's worked, and that's it. No Velcro applied or anything. These are $145 plus shipping and import tax, and a 8+ weeks build time, so save yourself time and money - £120. 10/10. Boss FZ-3 - Frusciante approved fuzz, which also sounds pretty good on Bass - £35. 8/10 (Has red marks round the dials for the settings a previous owner used, and a couple of scratches). *SOLD* Prices do not include shipping. Ok as for trades I would be interested in the following: Pedaltrain Nano Darkglass B3K Anything Iron Ether (FrantaBit and Oxide taking preference) SFX Micro Thumpinator Apart from those specific things, if you have anything to trade, make me an offer - Worst I can do is say no! Pictures available on request!
7.
Id go to the police its fraud and they would have no problem getting his address from Mr Shuker skez
+1 Lets stop any more innocent folk getting ripped off. Alternately we let him carry on and wait for Karma to take its course...
8.
Does it run off a standard 9V dc power supply? Can anyone give me an opinion on how it compares to an Aguilar TLC pedal?
I have a TLC which is great - If anyone wants to lend me their MXR I'd be happy to compare the two
9. I've just read through this whole thread, and I'm shocked at what I've seen. 73Jazz you have the patience of a saint and are a better man than I. I'm sorry that a member of our community has shown you such disrespect and dishonesty. I hope this all gets sorted very soon.
10. Getting virtually 100 views a day but still not gone. Tempted to part this out. Any interest in the bits?
11. Thanks Gub, that's going straight into my PJB Bass Buddy, and out of that into Logic. TNIT, Thanks
12. Thanks Lawrence, me too. It's such a great bass, but the fact is my Shuker gets the gigs I need a Jazz for because it has an extra fret and I prefer the feel of the neck. I wouldn't be selling if I could afford the 5 string I want to buy.
13. Thanks for the info. I guess you're right - No matter how much better the parts may be, it's just not all original. Final price drop to £545 ONO, I'll just withdraw it if it goes any lower than that. It's not worth taking that big a hit on such a good bass - I'm only trying to raise funds for another bass after all. Cheers
14. Is this overpriced or something? This is a great looking, playing, and sounding jazz, of US Fender quality, with upgraded DiMarzio pickups, string thru body bridge, and Hipshot hardware (With Detuner), almost 1800 views but no offers? There must be someone who wants a nice Jazz, especially at £550!!
15.
AudioSpares.co.uk Discount Code: ASE10CE. Vlid until End of March. 10% off. Multiple use. Stock up on Neutrik jack-jack cable
Shep, you are a legend
16. Just thought I'd chime in here - Met Andy a few months ago to pick up some George L's cables, and again a month or so later to purchase a Gramma Pad. What a gentleman! Was happy to hang around and even bought me a couple of pints. I wish every seller was like Andy! Do not hesitate to deal with him
17.
I can likely get you a 10% discount code for orders direct from the website
Fantastic! I think I'm gonna be using a lot of it in the future so that would be awesome, thanks Shep!
Blue LED's, yeah baby! Just like the Hand dryers in the pub at King's Cross! haha! ;o) Still gotta try the 'mythical' Cream Pie out sometime.
Haha, the very same!! You're more than welcome to come and try it mate.
18. Oh cool! Any chance of a BC'ers discount then?
19.
I like it, Higgie!
Thanks mate!
Wot no envelope filter?!!! Is that the tape from the GigRig?
Well I do love my filters, but sadly it's not a "Bare Essential". That's what makes me want to get another couple of PT Nanos. I could have one with the Octamizer, and XBlender with my Swollen Pickle clone and Filter Twin in the loop. And another with my Analogman Chorus, Subdecay Baby Quasar, Atomic Echo clone delay, etc. And just pick and choose which boards I use for which gigs! And as for the tape, I'm pretty sure it's the same stuff, but I got it off of eBay from a seller called Audio Spares.
Nice! I like the choice of pedals.... How about a Korg Pitchblack or Polytune - something smaller? You then might be able to fit another pedal on there and we all know MOAR IS BETTER
Thanks, it's a great little board. I was thinking of that, my Dad has a Pitchblack, but the fact is I love the Blue and White LED's of the DT-10BK! I'm not sure how much space would be saved, seeing as the other pedals have their jacks on the side and the DT-10 has them on top, allowing me to have no gap between pedals. And I'm also no stranger to the concept of MOAR, my last board was a PT-2 with 13 pedals on it
20. Absolutely loved that. Brilliant playing all round, and what a voice! Going on my iPod for sure...
