Finally loaded up my Pedaltrain Nano with the bare essentials. Sorry for the crappy pic. iPod Touch strikes again!! All powered by a Johnnyshredfreak power supply. I'm thinking of getting another couple of Nanos and going with a modular setup. Seeing as a Nano will fit 4 regular sized pedals, that will always leave a spare output on the Daisy chain so I could power more than one board with one power supply. All held down with Pedalboard Tape (ripped all the velcro off the board and pedals. It's brilliant stuff, can't believe how strong it is!) and wired up with George L's.

Nik sold me a Boss FT-2 and was a fantastic seller through out the transaction. Fast communication, and had no trouble holding on for a couple of days while I transferred some money into my account. Thanks for a great transaction - I can't recommend Nik highly enough! James

Couldn't be happier with my X-Blender. Having said that, I've played with some of Max's creations from SFX and wouldn't hesitate in the slightest to go for one of his units.

Just because it's a Minor scale doesn't mean every interval in the scale is Minor! In the C Major scale for example, chord 1 is Major (C), chord 2 is Minor (Dm), and chord 3 is minor (Em). Even though the interval from Root to 3rd is Major, the Major 3rd of the scale's own chord is Minor. In your example, you say in the Minor scale, the 2nd is D. That's because in the Minor scale, the interval from Root to 2nd is still a Major one, ie C to D. And as Kirky said, a minor 2nd up from C would be Dflat. Hope this helps, I'm not very good at trying to explain theory

Hi Dannybuoy, firstly thanks for the compliment on my playing The strings on the P-Bass when Sir Duke was recorded were DR Fat Beams (that were fairly dead) if memory serves correctly, the ones that were on for the Marvin Gaye video are D'Addario Prosteels. Both were recorded the exact same way: I take a headphone splitter cable out of the iMac, sending one to the Speakers, and the other to the Aux in on my PJB Bass Buddy, which my bass and headphones are plugged into so I can hear the track and my bass. The speakers are left on so that when I record the video I can synchronise the Audio perfectly at the end. The track is imported into Logic, and the Bass is recorded via the Line Out from the PJB into the Line In on a Lexicon Alpha Interface. I usually then add the stock Logic Bass Amp to the Bass Channel to boost the volume and make any adjustments to the EQ. I then bring the track volume down a touch to make the bass stand out a little. Then it's a Stereo bounce down to an .m4a which is then imported into iMovie and synched with the video that's been recording the whole time Cheers

I just use Transcribe! to shift the MP3 up a semi tone when I play a long...Simples!

Mine is a Squier by Fender, and is JV127xx. I really have no clue what body it is! I wouldn't say it was heavy, but it's not particularly light either, I reckon it could be one of the Ash ones. Using my trusty JV Precision again, into the PJB Bass Buddy and then into Logic. All comments and criticisms welcome!

[/quote] Yeah, the neck on mine is really thin from front to back for a P Bass - None of that chunky "Baseball bat" neck that a lot of the older P's have. Even my dad's Squier JV's neck was different, so I don't know whether mine has been modified (It doesn't look to have been) but it's from Oct. 82 so within the first 6 months of production.
