1.
Higgie had the same done to his Mutron.
Actually I didn't! I had it sent to the GigRig who modded the Power input to take a standard 9v so it can be daisy chained, using 2 Virtual Batteries and some clever wiring!
I didn't think that Higgie had had his modded as he says that that is the reason that he can't use it live. I use a Mark Bass III and Bergantino cabs. I have only just bought the Sadowsky pre-amp and need that to fatten up the tone on the jazz bass - really like that sound and not keen to drop it. Does Octavius Squeezer offer same sounds as the two other Chunk Pedals? Would make sense to combine those two as I don't use the fuzz by itself and also could live without the 00 Funk as the AGuilar and MXR offer a better filter sound. Never used a LS-2 how would that work?
Yes I do remember selling you the Catalinbread. I miss it! The Octavius is basically the Brown Dog and 00Funk with some octave and LFO features IIRC, making it a one pedal Synth Station. I really want a Brown Dog again! Let me know if you go for the Octavius...I'd love to have the BD off you. PS, The LS-2 is awesome. It's the pedal world's Swiss Army Knife. Although beware. Your setup will end up getting a whole lot more complicated! Edit: Was it you I sold my Brown Dog to as well?! I can't remember where that one went.

Which phaser?

Subdecay Baby Quasar!
3. I've never used my Original Mutron live. Always other filters I've had at the time. Now I use a Prometheus for Auto Wah and a Proteus for standard filter stuff. If you wanna offload either the Serrano or Sadowsky - PM me
4. Run a Big Muff into the FX25. It's the closest I've ever heard to Sir Psycho Sexy!
5.
This is my temporary board. It lacks a Fulltone clone i'm having made by a DIYer friend, smaller and only with one channel to replace the one i currently have and probably a Pickle Pie B just to use the spare power plug Ater i have all the pedals i'll build a new board, cutted to size and without those plastic braces, just velcro! The signal chain is the one in my signature.
Nice pedal selection - but please buy some George L's!
6. If you'd ship I'd probably take 'em just because they're so damn sexy!
7. Your friend no longer owes you any money ...Although I still think you owe him a quick slap upside the head!
8.
Some basses are more worth than some money, sounds like this is that kind of bass for him
Agreed. So he needs to be compensated with enough cash to buy one as close as possible to the original. I know it's difficult as he's a friend, but at the end of the day if ANYONE lost/broke a piece of my gear I'd expect them to replace it.
9. Bump for MarkBass SuperSynth. My mate has dropped it in to me so I can take pictures for anyone who wants them. It's in totally mint condition with the addition of velcro to the bottom. The box is a in good condition, although the MarkBass "sleeve" round it is a tad ripped. Doesn't detract from the unit in any way though!
10. Jeff Skunk Baxter, Elliot Randall or Walter Becker! Can you tell I'm a Dan fan?
11. He owes you money. Simple as.
12. If I had £2500 this would be mine. Seriously. Such a gorgeous bass. I'm insanely jealous! Whoever buys this, watch your back. You never know when Ninja-Hig will strike!
13. Time for an Aguilar Octamizer I think. That thing goes LOUD. I have the Octave Level knob on about 8 oclock with the clean signal at 12 oclock and its still sooo loud. It's capable of boosting, so even without the clean signal it's easy to get the levels right!
14. Good point, I don't have a picture at the moment, but here's the original manufacturer's page: http://www.burkey.nl/flatliner%20engels.htm
15. Nice try Mark, but the 4 12's and DB750 are a match made in heaven...I wouldn't sell em for anything
16. The one without tweeter used to be mine. It's a lovely little cab that I bought brand new from the Bass Merchant. Regret selling it really, but needed to at the time! Whoever buys this will be immensely pleased
17. Boss Harmonist sold already. I only put it on eBay about half hour ago. Should have had a higher BIN price!
18. Ok selling the MB Super Synth for a friend. It's absolutely mint with the exception of velcro on the bottom (lets face it thats more of a pro than a con!) and comes with the original box, power supply and all that malarky. Pics can be sent if needed, but do ya really need to see a mint condition pedal? He's owned it from new and it's had minimal use. [s]He's looking for £200 plus postage which is a bargain IMHO[/s] SOLD Now, I'm selling a Boss HR-2 Harmonist. It's the original more sought after Boss Harmoniser pedal. It's had one knob replaced and is a little beaten up, but it's in perfect working order and sounds the nuts. Choose the key you're playing in, choose which 2 harmonies you want from that scale (from -1oct to +1oct), choose the levels for each harmony compared to your root note, and away you go. Stereo outputs also. I believe it can be used for vocals too, but really shines on guitar. No box or manual, but these were discontinued in 1999, so not unusual for a box to go missing in that time [s]It's currently on eBay with a BIN of £85. For BC'ers I'll include postage in that. Tell your guitarists about it, and tell 'em how much they need one![/s] SOLD Cheers James
19. Comes with original box, and all the original cables. £100 + postage. Cheers More to come soon.
20. I played this when it belonged to Kevin, and it absolutely rocks! Amazing bass with one of the thinnest necks I've ever played!
21. I used to use the AG500 with a DB112/DB112NT setup, but found it wasn't loud enough for my band (I didn't have PA support and my guitarist, well, is a guitarist...) so I've stepped it up to a DB750 and 2 8ohm DB212's. I mainly only need one cab, but for the bigger gigs I take both. I've never been happier with my sound, and a single 8ohm 212 will easily put out enough watts for most gigs. Your mileage may vary depending on the size of the venues you're playing, but if you need to go any louder than that, you'll most likely have PA support anyway so...It's up to you! But for my money, you can't go wrong with a couple of 2x12's - Gives you the option of splitting if you need to, rather than having something like an 8x10. Hope that helps! PS. My Dad used to go to the Bass Centre when it was in Wapping so you probably served him a few times!
22. I have 2 8 ohm DB212s and a DB750 amp. I never use both, except ONE gig that is particularly big. Every other gig the 450 watts into one 8ohm DB212 is more than enough. Each cab handles 600watts I think so when I'm using both, they REALLY push some air!
23. Someone tell Pino he ruined his career with all that fretless stuff in the 80's! He'll be kicking himself!
24. John is a great guy to deal with. We live on the same street, so I had a chance to play with this pedal last week and it's very cool. Top condition too, £110 is a bargain!
