1. BUMP Prunes and Custard pending trade!
2. It has! But I want a cheap and cheerful Octaver that I can stick on my NYC Lunchbox for grab'n'go situations, without having to take pedals on and off boards. Same reason I'm after a Pitch Black too
3.
Admittedly my first compressor was a DOD milkbox (which was a noisy piece of crap) but I then moved on to the Aphex Punch Factory, which was ok, very transparent, good for the price. I now use a Demeter Compulator (not alot though, I don't find myself using compression live) and couldn'y want anything more from a compressor. Compressor GAS has been vanquished for me!!
Just as a follow up to this, I sold the Demeter as I didn't find myself using Compression, but decided to try out the Aguilar TLC - The thing is now on constantly! It's 4 knobs give it a lot of control for a pedal compressor and they interact really well with eachother, making it a pretty straight forward and awesome sounding unit. I love it!
4. Korg Pitchblack added to trade options
5. Ok just not using these much, and either would like to trade for some pedals that I actually might use, or some cash to buy some! Mainly looking to trade/part ex at the mo, but will update with prices when I need to sell. We have: Crowther Prunes and Custard, in mint condition with it's original box. *TRADED* Malekko Omicron Phaser, in mint condition with it's original box. £80 posted Tech21 XXL-B Distortion, in mint condition, with original box and manual. *SOLD* Tradewise I'd be interested in anything funky, filters/phasers/octavers/fuzz. Would love a Bugcrusher if anyone has one they'd like to trade! And could do with a Korg PitchBlack! As far as Octavers go would prefer an OC-2.
6. I just took delivery of my new DB750 that I bought second hand, and no matter what I did I couldn't get the Clip light to come on. Active bass (Lakland DJ5) into the amp with the Gain, Bass, Mid and Treble knobs dimed, with the master EQ all the way down, and it didn't clip once even with the most aggressive technique. Now it sounds fantastic with everything from the Active Lakland to my Passive P with flats, but I just couldn't get it to clip. I just wasn't sure if this was natural behaviour or not! Can anyone shed some light on the matter? Cheers
7. Bump. £910 picked up, £935 posted.
8. Birthday bump! Will let this go for £920 if you come to pick it up. £945 posted.
9. REALLY confused as to how this is STILL for sale? It's an amazing bass but I just don't need it at the mo!
10. For what it's worth I actually prefer the Audere to the J-Retro, having owned 2 DJ5's with each of them in. Awesome pre!
11. Just get it over with and trade for my Lakland. You'll love it
12. How did this get to all the way back to Page 3? Someone buy this beautiful bass before I decide to keep it!
13. Also, would trade for maple necked StingRay 5 + cash!
14. Price drop bump. £950 posted.
15. Been playing this tonight and it's a REALLY good bass. I just don't need it at the mo. I think it's worth mentioning that I've had a DJ5 before this one and only sold it because I wasn't using it, and jumped at the chance to own another one. But the sad thing is I just don't need a 5 string J. As soon as I do though, I know what I'll be buying!
16.
Velcro dots. That way you can have it off or on at will.
I like this idea!
17. Ah well! No worries. If you fancy it and it's still here I'm sure we can sort something!
18. Yeah, it's a custom Nordy that Kevin Lindsay (also a member on here, I would PM him if you want more details!) had built by Carey Nordstrand for him. The only one like it I believe.
19. Set up your master card for Paypal and I'm sure we can do business...
20. These look like some fantastic basses, and Rich is one of the best guys you could ever hope to deal with, so don't hesitate if what he's offering takes your fancy! That fretless looks lovely rich, if I was in the market for another, it'd be that one!
