1.
I've got a load of pedals and a couple of multi effects, and on the vast majority of gigs,I don't use any of them. Not even a compressor. For me,it's all about having options. If I need to use a particular effect,it's there. I'd hate to be asked for a certain sound on a gig and not be be able to do it,so I have pretty much everything covered just in case.
This!
2. Mark sold me his Lakland DJ5. An awesome bass from an awesome seller! Mark is great to deal with. Excellent communication, honest, and a great guy all round. Do not hesitate to buy from Mark in the slightest. Highly recommended! Cheers Mark, I'm loving the bass. Took it out tonight and already had an offer to buy it from me! lol! James
3.
back to the top , i played this today through a crappy old peavey amp it it sounded good, and looks like the bass im after is gonna go before i sell this. so £550.00 straight sale
Come on guys it was a steal at the original price! This is just obscene!
4.
Hi, Sorry only just saw your reply, yeah Dave's pickup arrangement is the same, I just added the Audere, have all the original parts tho, but, tis' now sold pending payment, Thanks The GroovyPlucker
Damn, I really envy the lucky chappie who picked this up....
5. I've played this a couple times and it really is an AWESOME Jazz! If I wasn't about to buy a 5 string I'd have it alongside my Shuker...It's a REALLY nice bass.
6. Not the best quality as it was taken with my BlackBerry, but this is the little mini board I have put together for tonight's first gig with my new 2xDB212 rig! Just the bare essentials: Bass>DT-10>Octamizer>SFT>X-Blender with Swollen Pickle Clone in the loop>Amp
7. Just bought an NYC Pedalboards pedalcase from John. Super smooth deal, good communication, and had no problem waiting a week while I sorted out some funds. Great bloke to deal with, highly recommended! Thanks John!
8.
[ my heavy but lush trace rig , just need to get a 6000 head to power thee cabs separately!!!!!!!
Thanks for letting me borrow this awesome rig while I was waiting for mine to show up John! Monstrous sound!
9.
Still waiting on the new bits turning up... But I got bored and had hal an hour spare earlier so I broke out the paint brushes... It's not great but looks cool from eye level to pedal board level and is a little more interesting than a plain pedal!
That looks awesome! Mine is plain, any chance I could send it to you to do it for me?
10.
Me thinks he still has his DB112 NT
Ding ding ding! We have a winner! I was thinking of keeping it as now I don't need to sell it, but if you'd like to make me an offer privately, PM me PS. Yeah I posted a pic of the new stack in the Rig thread in the Gear Porm forum They're awesome!!
11.
Woah, you got that sorted quick! Thats an absolute chocolate beast. Hope you enjoy them. PS...I never tried stacking them with the bottom casters still on....im a bit wary sometimes.....is it working out ok?
I only did that to get the photo, but yes I have the casters on the bottom one and then the top one just sits on the top. I'll only use the casters for transporting them and will take them off when gigging them...
12. Just had a very pleasant deal with Gareth involving a very sexy pair of cabs. Price was fair, bloke was a diamond to deal with. Don't hesitate if he's selling something you want Cheers mate
13. Apologies for the crap quality, I took this with my Blackberry: These cabs just arrived, thanks Gareth!
14. Considering this thread is 3 years old, I strongly doubt you'll get a trade on this
15. There's a couple pics in here: Higgie's Gear I also had a Trans Red SR5 at the time...But that's gone now too. Really regret that one...
16. Haha. Really wish I could mate. I already have a Stingray exactly the same spec as yours just in Trans Orange with a Nordie 4.2 in it, and it doesn't get used much. I just love the the Trans Teal!
17. Don't hesitate to deal with Rich! He's a fantastic bloke and a better bass player than I'll ever be! Good luck with the sale matey...Let us know if you're down again any time soon and we'll catch up! Cheers
18.
Whats the neck meant to be like on these? I'm after getting a precision, but have never tried the 50's reissues. Are they big and bulky or is it comfortable? Also, what colour is it? Is it in the fiesta red? Cheers Joe
It says Fiesta Red in the title
19.
The bin would be a deal breaker for me.
Me too. If it is, I might be able to scrape the cash together.
20. I really love this bass. It's the perfect SR colour IMO. I'd have it if I had the cash Have a bump! Ps. does it come with the matching bin?
21. I love all of them except the Tweed...Not that I don't like them, I just think it looks better on a hardcase than it does a cab Choc Thunder/White Hot are the best, closely followed by Classic Black/Monster Green!
22. I remember seeing this when it was originally for sale. Wanted it then, and still do now Shame I have no money!
