If any of you Essex bassed (ho ho, see what I did there?) players who aren't gigging/washing your hair fancy coming down, we have a gig tonight at the Admiral Vernon in Dagenham. It should be a laugh! I'll be using my Shuker Jazz if anyone fancies a go on it

Mu-Tron III with dying batteries is correct. I have an original Mu-tron III but have never quite managed to get the sound by putting dying batteries in it. I find it much easier to just run a fuzz before hand
