1. Ah I see. Yeah that's the case. The Black one was the first one they brought out. The Silver was brought out as it had a "flatter" EQ response. Then the SR followed as it was even flatter!
 2.
Yeah! The Wonder track is ace! I so don't play that style, I feel like having a crack at something like that now.
Thanks very much! It's just one of them tunes that makes your head bounce!
 3.
Nice man! I like the authenticity of I Wish, not many people get all the little inflections, great vintage tone too. keep it up!
Thanks mate - That's what I was going for! That P-Bass really is the best P I've ever heard or played! And it's the cheapest bass I own!!
 4. Just drop the E down to D. Easy fingering, and sounds better. Is it REALLY that much hassle just to drop the string a tone for one song and then back up again?
 5.
More mids than the others variants also has flatter EQ which means I can shape the overdrive with my EQ pedal.
I always thought the first Black LTD had the most mids! From what I remember the silver one had less of a mid hump and was the reason it was brought out?!
 6.
Hi folks Does anyone know if a gs 112 and a db 112 would be a good match from the same amp ? the amp could vary TBH Recently picked up an Aguilar gs112 from fretmiester that pops in around here and just wondering about the possibilities. It's reported in reviews the two cabs have slightly different characteristics. Do they compliment, or clash ? Thanks everyone T
I would guess that having matching sets would be better...I use a DB112 and a DB112NT with my AG500SC and it sounds AWESOME.
 7. Damn - Just recently started getting into the Dan properly (knew a few of their tunes before hand but never really made an effort to check out more of their stuff) and I would have loved to have seen this, but unfortunately I'm gigging myself. Good luck with the gig, hopefully I'll be available for the August show
 8. Decent price for a decent pedal!! I've had 2 of these in the past because I regretted selling the first one. I've now moved on to an MSD but that cost me the best part of £200 so...Grab a fantastic wah at a great price.
 9.
I sold a DJ5 to buy one of these...........the SR5 was a better bass, guess I'm contrary to popular opinion
I did exactly the same thing...DJ5's are wicked...But I reckon the MM5 is the best bang for the buck out there!
 10.
I have one of these and its the easiest, smoothest, nocest bass I have ever played. Its so easy and enjoyable to play.
Sorry, I didn't catch a word of that. Too busy looking at your avatar!!
 11. Ok so you need a guitarist as well for this one, but it always goes down a treat
 12. I still think that Stingray 5's are the best 5 you can get for the cash. I regret selling mine....But then I wouldn't have ended up with my Shuker Good luck with the sale Rich...If I had the cash I'd have had it off you!
 13. Ooh nice. Hadn't caught either of them! I'll check em out, cheers.
 14.
[shameless plug] You know you want my soundblox phaser, it's pink and give you an excuse to flail your limbs wildly while playing [/shameless plug]
As much as I appreciate your offer, I do that enough when playing, don't need a pedal for it haha also that pedal is a bit big for my needs. I'd like a Retro-Sonic one, or I might wait for some demos of the new Keeley Phaser before springing for anything else.
 15. My Subdecay Prometheus arrived today, meaning the "Live" board is as follows: All on a PedalTrain PT-2: X2 Wireless>Korg DT-10>Mojohand Cream Pie TB Edition>Boss OC-2>X-Blender>Subdecay Prometheus>Analogman Chorus X-Blender Send>Way Huge Swollen Pickle Clone>Crowther Prunes and Custard>MSD Wah>X-Blender Return In the loop of the X-Blender there will also be a Catalinbread SFT (after the Pickle) and a patcher (after the P+C) to link in board number 2 which consists of a Digitech WH-1 Whammy>Montgomery '77 Flanger>Musitronics Mutron III>Catalinbread Valcoder>Visual Volume. The Volume pedal being in the loop of the X-Blender means I can fade the effects in and out independently of my clean tone. The output from board 1 goes to board 3, which is an EHX BassBalls with external pots mod>Way Huge Aqua Puss>Line 6 Echo Park>Catalinbread Serrano. Still looking for a Phaser of course Pics coming soon if I can be bothered
 16.
hi, i was a bit tentative at first, but believe me , it works ! no problem.. i have a few pedals that don't follow the standard 9vdc set-up, so i was also wary. i use the mb comp first in the chain, followed by a few 9v dc pedals and even a 9vac (boss syb-5), and they all work fine. read up on diago's f.a.q. section. they say that combinations of 9 & 12 v are o.k. but an extra adaptor is required for 18v. (costs £5.99) the only pedal i won't risk is my 24v ehx q-tron. like i say i haven't had a problem with the compressore so far, but you can always e-mail them to check.. also the unit will cut off itself if it feels that anything in the chain is 'wrong', which is why i decided to pay the extra..
I'm pretty sure the SYB-5 is 9v DC the same as the rest...and I also strongly doubt the Diago will provide AC and DC voltages at the same time. I have one myself and it's more than adequate for powering 20+ 9vDC pedals.
 17.
Hi James. I use one of these with my PC and its very good. Im not sure how much of a boost you need but it does make a difference on my PC. It might not be quite what your looking for though. Your welcome to borrow it for a few days if your friend wanted to test it out. Its about the size of a ipod Shuffle and very light. It runs of a built in rechargeable battery that can be charged from a USB port. FiiO E5
Very kind of you Dave. I'd very much like to take you up on that offer! PM me and we'll sort it out. And thanks Pete for the link, if Dave's unit doesn't do what she is after I will tell her to take a look at this one!

 19. Ok, so a friend of mine has one ear that doesn't hear as well as the other one, and even that one isn't as good as it should be, and she finds that when listening to music through her computer via headphones, she can't get enough volume as she'd like. Is there something out there that would plug in-line between the headphones and the computer that could boost the volume? If not, is there anyone here that could build me a little box that would do this? Ideally it would just have one knob for volume, an input and an output jack. Cheers James
 20.
This is an original, green Dredgetone Bass Angler. It's in fairly good condition with velcro on the bottom, however, it has some chips in the lettering on the pedal. I'll try to get pics up sometime tonight. Looking for about £140 shipped?
Don't do it Max!! Or at least if you are, wait for me to get some cash
 21. Green will be fine. PM me your payment info
 22. Both my fretless and fretted SR4's have the lowest action out of all my basses. The fretless is obviously the lowest without any frets to buzz against, but the action on my fretted is still stupidly low! I believe the string spacing at the bridge to be 19mm. Hope that helps
