[shameless plug] You know you want my soundblox phaser, it's pink and give you an excuse to flail your limbs wildly while playing [/shameless plug]
As much as I appreciate your offer, I do that enough when playing, don't need a pedal for it haha also that pedal is a bit big for my needs. I'd like a Retro-Sonic one, or I might wait for some demos of the new Keeley Phaser before springing for anything else.

My Subdecay Prometheus arrived today, meaning the "Live" board is as follows: All on a PedalTrain PT-2: X2 Wireless>Korg DT-10>Mojohand Cream Pie TB Edition>Boss OC-2>X-Blender>Subdecay Prometheus>Analogman Chorus X-Blender Send>Way Huge Swollen Pickle Clone>Crowther Prunes and Custard>MSD Wah>X-Blender Return In the loop of the X-Blender there will also be a Catalinbread SFT (after the Pickle) and a patcher (after the P+C) to link in board number 2 which consists of a Digitech WH-1 Whammy>Montgomery '77 Flanger>Musitronics Mutron III>Catalinbread Valcoder>Visual Volume. The Volume pedal being in the loop of the X-Blender means I can fade the effects in and out independently of my clean tone. The output from board 1 goes to board 3, which is an EHX BassBalls with external pots mod>Way Huge Aqua Puss>Line 6 Echo Park>Catalinbread Serrano. Still looking for a Phaser of course Pics coming soon if I can be bothered
hi, i was a bit tentative at first, but believe me , it works ! no problem.. i have a few pedals that don't follow the standard 9vdc set-up, so i was also wary. i use the mb comp first in the chain, followed by a few 9v dc pedals and even a 9vac (boss syb-5), and they all work fine. read up on diago's f.a.q. section. they say that combinations of 9 & 12 v are o.k. but an extra adaptor is required for 18v. (costs £5.99) the only pedal i won't risk is my 24v ehx q-tron. like i say i haven't had a problem with the compressore so far, but you can always e-mail them to check.. also the unit will cut off itself if it feels that anything in the chain is 'wrong', which is why i decided to pay the extra..
I'm pretty sure the SYB-5 is 9v DC the same as the rest...and I also strongly doubt the Diago will provide AC and DC voltages at the same time. I have one myself and it's more than adequate for powering 20+ 9vDC pedals.
Hi James. I use one of these with my PC and its very good. Im not sure how much of a boost you need but it does make a difference on my PC. It might not be quite what your looking for though. Your welcome to borrow it for a few days if your friend wanted to test it out. Its about the size of a ipod Shuffle and very light. It runs of a built in rechargeable battery that can be charged from a USB port. FiiO E5
Very kind of you Dave. I'd very much like to take you up on that offer! PM me and we'll sort it out. And thanks Pete for the link, if Dave's unit doesn't do what she is after I will tell her to take a look at this one!

Ok, so a friend of mine has one ear that doesn't hear as well as the other one, and even that one isn't as good as it should be, and she finds that when listening to music through her computer via headphones, she can't get enough volume as she'd like. Is there something out there that would plug in-line between the headphones and the computer that could boost the volume? If not, is there anyone here that could build me a little box that would do this? Ideally it would just have one knob for volume, an input and an output jack. Cheers James
This is an original, green Dredgetone Bass Angler. It's in fairly good condition with velcro on the bottom, however, it has some chips in the lettering on the pedal. I'll try to get pics up sometime tonight. Looking for about £140 shipped?
Don't do it Max!! Or at least if you are, wait for me to get some cash

Can some one explain the whole Musicman, Stingray, Sterling thing
Higgie replied to dave_bass5's topic in Bass Guitars
Both my fretless and fretted SR4's have the lowest action out of all my basses. The fretless is obviously the lowest without any frets to buzz against, but the action on my fretted is still stupidly low! I believe the string spacing at the bridge to be 19mm. Hope that helps -
Great bass playing and sound/tone James.
Thanks Gareth! A few bum notes here and there...but you're right, that JV Precision sounds the nuts!
drummer needs to learn the proper fills in Black Night!
Haha, yeah I'd love him to play it like the track! I don't dislike the way he plays it, but I agree it would sound better played like the track.

Posted this in the Recordings forum as I didn't see this thread. Here is my band Torn playing Black Night (complete with bum notes from me!!), and here are a list of our gigs. There are a couple more videos of us from the same user on Youtube

Thanks for the kind words John. I agree about Fly Away, not quite sure what went on there! Sam and I wrote out some more songs we're thinkin of doing, so drastic changes to the set list coming soon

My 82 Squier JV PBass is the best P i've ever heard/played, let alone owned! I consider myself extremely lucky to own such a bass! No Fender could ever beat it.
Nice work Higgie. Hearing that bassline really was a 'stop the car by the side of the road and listen in wonder' moment for me. What software did you use to notate this, if you dont' mind me askin' ?
Hi Pete, thanks alot! Just good old Guitar Pro 5 - Export as PDF I have been meaning to get the rest of this done, but haven't had a lot of time. I will try and finish it by the end of the week! Cheers

Not a problem mate, I like to transcribe stuff every now and then just to make sure my ears are still working, might as well help someone out in the process! I'll have a look at maybe getting this done this afternoon/evening if I get the chance, but don't want to promise anything!!

Sounds wicked! I'm much more impressed with these samples than I was with the Octavius Squeezer when it was first released. I guess it doesn't have all the firmware related bugs the OS had either. Looks like there is finally a readily available alternative to the Deep Impact!
