1. Gorgeous I love that colour on basses. If I had the cash this one would be coming with me
2. I bought a Nordstrand pickup for my Stingray from Simon and he was the perfect guy to deal with - Excellent communication, fast postage, and in general a lovely bloke. Don't hesitate to buy from/sell to him in the slightest! Cheers again mate
3. So look what just turned up?
4. Bump for the Barge
5. I seem to remember him playing a downtuned 5er, so that would help with the string tension.
6. Sounds like he has low action to get a little fret buzz, a little bit of Overdrive in the first vid. New strings, scooped mids. That's about it really. Never been a fan of him or his playing. And yes, second vid is just root 5th octave.
7. Hi all, My Dad is looking to swap his MarkBass 151P traveller 8Ohm cab for the MarkBass 102P 8Ohm traveller cab. It's in pretty much mint condition and is about a year old. Failing that he'd let it go for £350 + P&P, or £350 collected from Chingford, South East London. Cheers
8. Gimme gimme gimme! If only...

SOLD

He used to be room mates with Leland Scarf! On topic, this is a blinding bass - The only Vigier I've played, but it damn sure is a fine one!
10. The pickup is too far from the bridge to be an MM. Looks to me like a P Bass with a MM style humbucker.
11. Email sent
12. Count me in.
13.
Ah! I kind of recognise the bass - a similar instrument was used some years ago now to demo Marshall's Dynamic bass rigs - (we had a demo night here in Peterborough) and it was made and played by Mr Pete Stroud! Is that you Pete? Cheers! Nick
Headstock says PS on it, so I think you could be right sir!
14. I would have thought that you'd be ok on 200ma, except for the Headrush.
15. I've heard really good things about the Hartke LH range. Lots of power, tube pre-amp, very robust, and pretty cheap! Keep your eye out for one and see if you can try it out.
16. Not usually too big a fan of sunburst, but that is just gorgeous!
17.
AnalogMan Mini Chorus with deep mod - perfect for me

If I wanted a chorus pedal, that's what I'd go for.
Had one. Sold it. Regretted it. Bought Standard Chorus with 3 way depth toggle as I couldn't be bothered to wait for a mini to turn up second hand. Best Chorus pedal ever!
18. I have the single channel and it is a fantastic amp. I love it to bits. Dual channel is tempting, but I get all my distortion from pedals! Great price for an amazing amp and cab. Good luck with the sale!
19. Needless to say - Pino doing what he does best!
20.
Ok, so I realise this is a bit of a long shot but I have 5 matching EBS pedals sitting next to me that hardly ever get used so I thought I might have a go at selling them all as a 'job lot' to save me the hassle of packaging & posting them all individually. I've bought these at different times so they are of varying age but they are all in great working order. I'd say the BassIQ & OctaBass have been on a board at some stage. I've never tried to use any of these with a battery so it's possible there's the odd dodgy connection somewhere (as is usually the way with battery power) but if someone wants them all then I'll throw in nice little basic mains power supply from SoundLab that has 6 power leads. The pedals & approx new prices are: MultiDrive £125 MultiComp £140 OctaBass £110 BassIQ £145 DynaVerb £160 To buy new these would therefore come in at around £680 (over £700 with postage) So I thought maybe £450 the lot including the power supply - can probably chuck in some little patch cables as well just for good measure Not sure what postage would be but even when boxed up I can't imagine it would be a huge amount. Apologies for the slightly vague descriptions and lack of pics but thought I'd try to suss out whether there might be anyone out there with an EBS pedal fetish waiting to be satisfied before going through the motions of taking pics of each individual pedal & describing them in detail BassDirect have pretty good details here or obviously EBS themselves have lots of info & sound clips etc here
Any interest in a trade for my Custom Barge VFB unit for the BassIQ + cash?
21. I use 2 DB112's (although one doesn't have a tweeter) with an AG500 and the sound is absolutely awesome. God knows why he's selling! Bump for some great cabs!

SOLD

They both look like absolute belters mate! I'm a Stingray lover myself (I've got a 4 and a 5, and a fretless 4 on the way) and would have that red one if I had the cash!!
