1. FWIW I just sold my Skyline with J-Retro for £675 posted, although it wasn't in a Lakland hardcase, but I still don't think it'd be worth that much. Good luck with the sale, but you might find getting a buyer to be a struggle!
2. Hubba Hubba! Looks gorgeous. Would match my SR4 nicely Let me know if you're ever thinking of selling
3. Lovely! I love orange basses! You can see my Stingray in this shot: That's a lovely looking P though mate, good shout on the tort and ashtrays as well. Pics when it's finished!
4.
Purely so that the tweeter is closer to ear level (though still well short of that) I put the tweeter loaded cab on top. Saying that I generally just have the tweeter on 50% any way!
Same here. My Stingray is quite twangy anyway so I only have the tweeter on about 25-33%!
5. It's the really quick 16th note run in the intro that gets me every time!!
6. Will trade/Part ex for a Pedaltrain. Not really bothered about size as long as it's bigger than a PT JR.
7. Wish I had the cash to buy this back!
8. Diago Showman up for sale. Great condition. The carpet on the inside came up a little bit around the edges, so I stapled it back down and now it's fine. Has seen maybe 2 gigs - I thought it was too big for what I need so went with a pedaltrain junior. Pics will be coming soon, but I'm sure you know what a decent condition Diago pedalboard looks like. These are now £135 posted from Diago, so grab a bargain with a hardly used one at £65 + postage/collected.
9.
I just saw that over on TB. Nice board. Care to share?
Not much else to share! I received the adaptor I was waiting for in the post, so the Echo Clone is now off the board, and my Demeter Compulator has replaced it. Not an always on thing, just to boost my sound a bit but keep it level when I'm slapping.

9v plugs

Depends. Are they 9V DC? Positive or negative center?
11. Body Pre and Pickups now sold. Bridge and Neck still available! Cheers
12. Just like that! My old teacher had a Squier JV Jazz that used to be owned by Jack Bruce, in that colour with a tort guard. It's just the best playing Jazz bass I've ever touched. I couldn't put my finger on what exactly was special about it - But my God there was something!!
13. The DB112/112NT setup is just great...Which one do you put on the bottom?
14. I absolutely love that finish. I really want a Jazz in that colour combo!! Well done on a good score - Looks awesome!

RIP R,5,R,5...

+1 to everything said. Never met the guy but always remembered his posts being great. RIP Nick
16. Body, Pickups and Preamp on hold pending payment.
17. Thanks! Just incase anyone is wondering, the Pickle fuzz is a Big muff/Swollen pickle clone built by someone from TB which has a 4 way tone stack so you can have slightly different voicings of the tone knob including a Swollen Pickle tone control, a Big Muff one, one where the tone knob is off, and I'm not quite sure what the other mode does The Atomic Echo Clone is the guts of a Way Huge Aqua Puss in a different box...Mmmm...Warm analog delay goodness
18. Ok - I've gone from the PT mini seen here: To this, the current band board: Underside: Ok so the underside is a bit messy, but it's all stable and works so if it ain't broke... Signal chain: Bass>TB Edition Cream Pie>OC2>XBlender>Analogman Chorus>Atomic Echo Clone>Korg DT-10BK In the XBlenders loop is Pickle Huge Fuzz>Crowther Prunes and Custard. As you can see, the board is powered by a Diago power supply, which is velcro'd to the back wall of the board on the underside. Just plug the power chord into the Diago and everything lights up I want a Subdecay Prometheus on there (not sure which pedal would have to go), and the Echo Clone will be replaced by my Demeter Compulator, once I have bought the adaptor that will allow me to daisy chain it. There is a spare power outlet on the Daisy chain that isn't in use, so I may just take the tuner off the board and plug it in on the side, so I could get the Prometheus on there without having to lose anything.
