That looks amazing! I've always loved Coranados.

Hi mate. I had one of the Washburn eight strings a few years ago. I put it on commission in Andy's on Denmark street. I think he shifted it for about £550. He sent me three duff cheques and by the time I got chance to go to see him he had gone out of business. I was gutted to say the least. Hope that helps! Dave

Nice bass! I always wanted one of these. I used to spend ages in Musicground drooling over them. Mind you, they were probably fakes in that place.

Hi guys. So, it`s been up for a while now. I`ll give it a wee while before going to ebay at a higher price. £2500 firm for a straight cash sale, or part ex with a trade price of £2900. You`re getting a hell of a lot of bass for the new price. It's a late 62 and so it isn't a slab board. It has a very old body only refin in Fiesta Red (quite a pinky hue). It has a later bridge on that appears to be a pretty old one and I replaced the pots and wiring harness a couple of years ago. It comes with its original covers and case, which has been sprayed black by a previous owner. The frets are pretty low, but it still plays fine. I've had the same set of flats on it since I bought it twelve years ago. It's a lovely bass and I'll be sad to see it go. Cheers, Dave. I know what you mean on feeling old. That Marshall 8x10 of mine will be going soon. If I can shift some toys i might take the plunge on a Barefaced '69er. Unless a certain persons black basket weave/salt and pepper 2x12 comes on the market anytime in the near future. The Marshall sounds amazing with the gt200, but 72kgs takes the piss a little. I love my spine the way it is and I struggle to see any roadies in my future.

Tools for all occasions! I'd keep them all. You never know what you might need down the road. That said, my gas is out of control. It may prove terminal if my Missus finds out. Maybe I'm not the best person to listen to.

Mmmmmm, green. Is it the basket weave?

I have had many gear selling moments like that. I had a 72 precision that was absolutely amazing. I do miss that one the most. I'll be keeping my gt200 until I'm too frail to lift it. Hopefully my son will be able to get some use out of it too. Any pics of your rig? It seems we're in the right place for it.

Hi Wooks. Did I see on here somewhere that you were thinking of moving it on? How does it handle drive?
-
I couldn't agree more. I wish I'd discovered Matamp sooner. I'm using it through a Marshall 8x10 and the power is just unreal. The only downside is moving a 72kg cab up two flights of stairs to get it to and from our practice space. I've been thinking alot about the Barefaced 69er. There's only forty eight kilos difference.

Holy sh*t! That's a rig and a half. You're making we want a second 8x10.................and a second GT200................ And... GAS! GAS! GAS!
