10. It's probley been asked a thousand times before , I'm really tempted to switch to short scale basses due to a on going medical condition with my hands a thing called havs , I won't bore you with the details , been looking at Chowny bass for starters , but tone wise is some of the tone and growl sacrificed on shortys, my main weapons of choice are as follows mayones jabba 4 and g&l tribute full scale but after a 3hr gig the other night my fingers gave up the ghost ,I alway warm my hands up ,should I struggle on or make the switch to the short side , my live rig barefaced cab 2 of with streamliner 6.0 depends on where I'm playing or do shorts just look like toys that guitarist play because they can't handle real basses ? Please don't take offence at the last comment it's done in jest 😀 Cheers me dears

 12.
Ok as above I love this bass ,this going to sound really shallow, but I don't like the colour I'd prefer to do a straight swap for another jabba 4 a nice lakland or fender jazz ,p bass or a stingray or what you got you never know ask me you never know your luck willing top up with cash for the right deal folks ,but not a black one I find black a bit to gothey for my liking.bought a few weeks ago off conan Here's the spec Alder body One piece maple neck Maple fingerboard Hipshot A style bridge, brass adjustable string spacing(19mm to 21mm Schaller tuners 42mm nut width 20" fingerboard radius 34.25" length Delano jmvc 4 fe,m2 pickups Electronics vol/vol/tone,with series parallel switch 24 jumbo frets Weight 9lb 3oz Don't know why the pics are on a Any questions ask away and I will be truthful and honest as I always am , Regards kev
New pics now added swirling on the body as now gone after a bit of Tlc buckle rash on back of body as seen on pic some weird marks on the rear of neck think where it's been lent on something you can see in pic or it could be the grain in the wood but I doubt that you can feel them they are very slight but thought I'd mention this as I am very fussy about my gear marks out of 10 I'd give it a 9 myself but sound wise it's quit sublime a lot of marks are not marks but reflections off the flash bouncing off the body Ok as above I love this bass ,this going to sound really shallow, but I don't like the colour I'd prefer to do a straight swap for another jabba 4 a nice lakland or fender jazz , p bass , what you got ask me you never know your luck or a stingray willing top up with cash for the right deal folks ,but not a black one I find black a bit to gothey for my liking.bought a few weeks ago off conan Here's the spec Alder body One piece maple neck Maple fingerboard Hipshot A style bridge, brass adjustable string spacing(19mm to 21mm Schaller tuners 42mm nut width 20" fingerboard radius 34.25" length Delano jmvc 4 fe,m2 pickups Electronics vol/vol/tone,with series parallel switch 24 jumbo frets Weight 9lb 3oz Any questions ask away and I will be truthful and honest as I always am Regards kev

 14. Yes agreed yes I now the pistols did God save the queen before anyone says anything I never really got the anarchist stuff like crass and such like ,discharge I think that killed the whole movement and most off us moved with our fave band ,then again most punk bands by that time had developed into more new wavey pop sort of genre 😄
 15. The specials , think they were more ska but they were very good all the same 😺 Just going back too the stranglers I had older brothers who were into all that sort of music I was lucky really has my parents let them take me so I saw them on the Raven tour and a lot of other great bands in my early teens 😺😺
 16. Just another mention to the great late mick Kahn of Japan , forget Jaco what's his face , that how you play fretless bass wal never seen play anything else , I know there where classed as New Romantics but thought I'd get him in there , yes I also know adolescent sex their first album was more rocky

 22. Everyone remembers him , but I remember seeing the the news after the Nancy spungeons death and the interview he did its was quit sad really obviciously high or coming down I'm not sure which . He was exploited by the media as some type of toy i was just discovering my way with music as 13 yr old teenager me and my mates loved Sid is image was fantastic the punk movement was why a lot of us picked instruments up in the first place was not the prog rock type bands and 20mins solo did nothing for me or my mates ,as I got older I now love all music . But way back then the youth needed a voice and oh boy did it get one
