Apologies only just seen these questions! It's still available. I don't have any means of weighing it atm however it's not heavy, was used as a replacement for a 78 jazz to make it alot more usable! The finish may have a very light clear coat to it?!?! I can't be 100% LOL. Cheers!

Friday eve bump!

Howdy all! Tomorow I should be taking delivery of my 44-14 so am going to be moving this on. Its a lakland 4402 deluxe with the bartolini pickups. It's in excellent condition and plays so well. It's a nice weight and in my opinion the comfiest bass/neck I've ever played. It sounds fantastic and with the mm/j combo there's not much it can't do! The output jack crackles if the lead is moved too much so may need attention soon. I'm in Gosport Hampshire. Any viewing welcome and collection/meet prefered however may post as have a few cases. More pictures up soon! The only thing I may take as a part trade is a tech21 sansamp plus cash. Any questions just ask

Relisting this for sale as I simply don't use it enough to justify keeping! It's a 1978 fender usa jazz bass. As far as I know it's all original apart from some solder on the pots. Fitted with some light roundwound strings, she sounds very aggressive! It's a heavy bass, will try and get an accurate weight. Plays and sounds great. The body paintwork is very heavily aged/cracked and as such would recommend viewing however I will post. In my opinion looks fantastic and a proper road worn bass! The price is fixed, would take a lakland 4402/4414 as part trade deal but that's all. Comes in a hard case, don't think it's the original. Can include a lightweight allparts jazz bass body for extra if any buyer wants it. Collection prefered, can meet within reason for serious buyers. Check my feedback. It's a tank, almost 12 lbs according to my digital scales! However after playing it alot this week, I can't sell it, it sounds too good! Sorry to all those interested

No apology needed, it's my bad, I probably should've started a new ad! I originally listed it at 800 however after some research and messages/advice from a few people I had seriously undervalued it so have put a price I feel is more fair for both me and buyer as I'm not fond of seeing myself out of money! You won't find a cheaper one. It is all original, I also have an allparts body that I can include at asking price. Hope that helps!

Here for sale I have a allparts jazz bass body. I believe it's ash(?!). It has had the neck drilled for a 3 bolt 70's style neck however could be redrilled easily enough. Good condition. Going on the new price of these I'm after 150 posted to the UK which I think is a fair price. Any questions just ask! Thanks

Howdy people! Decision has been made to try and move this on to someone who will give it some use! It's a 1978 fender jazz bass. As far as I know, it's completely original apart from abit of solder on the pots. It's a heavy beast (I'll try and weigh it by the weekend) however has an unbelievable aggressive tone! Cuts through a mix so well. Plays great and everything works as it should. The paint is in a very heavily worn/aged condition, it adds to the mojo however if you want a mint bass then look away now before your eyes are offended.Comes with the hardcase shown, collection prefered due to the condition as I would prefer a buyer to see it. Can get more pictures if required. Really after a cash sale however I'm only human and may take trades so PM me. Thanks!
