  1. I used to have a schroeder 1212L years ago and it was ridiculous how much air it could move for such a lightweight cab! Cut through a loud band with ease. GLWTS
  2. Joe recently bought my Fender jazz bass in what was a very easy basschat transaction. Prompt payment and good communication, would happily deal with again. Enjoy the bass!
  3. Just sold my lakland 44 02 to Tim. Really good communication and a very easy basschat sale. He paid promptly and I would be happy to deal with him again. Enjoy the bass!
  4. No my friend, still with me! I keep considering keeping it but I'm just not playing 4 strings much anymore
  5. This used to be mine a few years ago, it's such an amazing bass. The neck is one of the nicest I've ever played!
  6. Hi, the nut width is 41mm and 12th fret width is 55mm. I'd say the shape is a D shape, it's not a very deep neck. It's a very easy and comfortable neck to play. Bridge spacing is 19mm so feels very familiar if you're a fender kinda person
  7. Hi all, in my quest to downsize the collection I have decided to sell my deluxe jazz bass. This is a lovely bass to play and does exactly what a good jazz bass should... Sound like a jazz bass! All the tech info can be found online, but it has an active 3 band eq plus active passive switch with passive tone control. Has awesome black pearl block inlays and is a very resonant sounding bass with probably the best 34" B string I've played. Negative points are one of the B string saddle screw heads is rounded (I will try to replace before it goes) and the output jack is slightly loose. The lead doesn't fall out or anything but doesn't engage as securely as it should - does not affect the sound etc but just being honest. The neck has one small mark on the back edge G string side that doesn't affect playability. The body as had a few chips and quite a few shallow scratches/indents that are very hard to photo, I have attached photos but any viewing is welcome. Original deluxe hardcase includes which has a crack on the underside and is scratched but does it's job. Will listen to sensible offers and not really after any trades but im only human so feel free to ask. Collection or meet up preferred but can probably post at buyers risk and cost. Anything else just ask, thanks!

  8. Hi everyone, decided to sell this awesome bass as I'm only using 5 strings these days! I'm a huge lakland fan and this one does not dissapoint. One of the comfiest necks in the business combined with amazing tonal versatility makes these basses so good! Plays and sounds great, everything works as it should. It has been played so there are some light marks etc from normal use. Fitted with dunlop dual strap buttons. Weight is approx 9.6 lbs. This version is fitted with the lakland pickups/preamp. Not interested in any trades or offers please as it's already priced to sell. I may have a spare hardcase and box if postage was needed however would be at buyers cost/risk. Otherwise collection or a meet up is preferable. Any questions just ask. Thanks
  9. Zbynek recently bought one of my laklands. He was very easy to deal with and had great communication. Paid very quickly and made an overseas sale incredibly simple. Would happily deal with again, thanks and enjoy the bass 😁
  10. Thankyou! Yeah I did see their one and this bass new is over £4k, however I find more "boutique" basses like this never seem to hold value like they should. To be honest it may be off to bassdirect soon if no takers!
  11. I know I will it is an awesome bass 😂, the preamp is made by fibenare. They make everything on the bass in house apart from the tuners and strings
  12. Send me a private message and we can chat
  13. Hi, for shipping abroad I'd want the buyer to organise it. I'm happy to box it up and drop it off somewhere but any shipping costs/liability would be with the buyer. Thanks
  14. Yeah I went abit mad over the last 18 months and need to trim the herd 😂
  15. Hi all. Have decided to see if there's any interest in my lakland 55 AJ. Stunning looking, playing and sounding bass. It's been fitted with a brand new sadowsky preamp. These preamps are great, runs a volume blend tone with a push pull for the active 2 band. It has an incredibly punchy and clear tone, helped with the typical lakland B string! Weighs in at approx 9.9lbs. There is one main mark/ding in the top of the body which I've tried to show, along with some light surface scratches front and back that are very hard to photo. Trial is welcomed, collection preferred but would consider a meet up or postage at buyers risk/cost. Any other questions or more pictures just ask. Thanks.
  16. Alot of bass for little money!
  17. I've just fitted a sadowsky preamp to a lakland jazz bass of mine and I can highly recommend it. It's 4 pots, vol balance tone and a stack bass treble. Has a push pull passive switch on the tone pot. I got it from thomann for about £160 and it sounds awesome. I usually run it passive but the active controls are there should I ever need them
  18. Geddy Pee 😂 such a great name for this bass!
  19. As far as I know its factory. I'll get a picture of the inside of the cavity. There is a Warwick stamp on the lower of that cover that you can see in the photo (although it's partly faded/rubbed off). I've seen others of this age and they looked to have the same cover. It's held on with captive nuts and screws rather than wood screws and it all looks original to me
  20. Trade wise not really after anything in particular as it'll probably end up being sold on. But would consider a trade as part payment as its obviously quite a lot of money to stump up
  21. Hi everyone, decided to see if there's any interest in my 1988 Nt5 thumb bass. This is such an awesome bass, with that typical thumb growl. It has a very slim and playable neck. Has the original emg pickups with a 2 band eq. She's a heavy old girl at 11.3lbs. Everything works as it should, there is some wear to be expected with a 34 year old bass! It has some light surface scratches, some discolouration to the lower body edge, some paint wear to the bridge and the emg pickup logos have almost rubbed off. There is also what looks like some glue or insert near to the nut, I got this bass from the original owner who said it was like this from new. It is an amazing bass and none of the above detract from how it plays etc. Cash sale ideally, may take a part ex plus cash but would need to be a minimum of £1k cash. Comes with an old, fitted and very heavy flight case to keep it safe. Collection/meet up much preferred due to the value however could post at buyers cost/risk. Any more pictures or info feel free to ask, I've priced it fairly going on other similar basses I've found online (most of which are up for alot more!) . I'm happy to discuss price with any interested buyers. Thanks
  22. Hi everyone. Looking to give my 5514 a new home. I absolutely love this bass and the only reason I'm selling is I've just bought a 5594 😁. It's a 2016 USA made 55 14 classic. Fitted with the Lakland pickups/preamp it sounds great and is very versatile. Weighs 9.25lbs and the fretboard dots are birdseye maple!! Balance and playability are fantastic like most laklands. It's in good condition, there is a chip to the rear of the body by the neck, there is also a paint crack near one of the neck bolts. There is some paint lift around the rear cavity. This has been like it the 3 years I've had the bass and hasn't got any worse. As i say, this bass has beaten away many others over the last few years and whoever buys it will not be dissapointed. Treat yourself to one of the best necks in the game! No trades please. Collection/meet up preferred, can post at buyers cost/risk. Anymore pictures or info just ask. Thanks

  23. Hi everyone, due to recently purchasing my dream bass, I'm selling off most of my collection. This is a 2008 corvette double buck. German made, plays and sounds great. A few small marks and light scratches most of which are in the pictures. The A string tuner washer is coming away however works fine. This bass has a monster tone and with the parallel/single/series switches is very flexible. Comes with a rockbag and the user kit. Nice weight at approx 9.1 lbs. No trades please. Collection/meet up preferred, can post at buyers cost/risk. Anymore pictures or info just ask. Thanks
  24. I played this in bassdirect when they had it, apart from the really dead strings it was a lovely bass! Really comfortable neck awesome satin finish
  25. Thanks, my pictures really don't do it justice! The worst thing about this bass is I spend more time staring at its beauty than playing it 😂
