1. I love my Streamline 4 more than any bass I've ever owned......thank god this is a five or I'd be looking at a divorce. Bump
2. You too mate, hope you're well. If the two of us haven't convinced him there's no hope :-)
3.
Rich, under no circumstances part with this bass - Having heard you play it in a band context and also having played it myself, it's a great bass and a keeper. Your band mates wouldn't know the difference if you put up signs, LOL! Rich
Listen to Richard he knows of what he speaks. I've watched you over the last few years go from Jazz to P and back again......you've finally ended up with a good un, face it, accept it and spend your money elsewhere......what about a nice holiday? Having said that what do I know......the only bass I've stuck with over the last couple of years is Rich's old Status Streamline. But honestly letting go of this one would be a mistake, and that's from a guy who would gladly give you £700 for it.
4. Richard, tell the band they are talking boXXoc7s. They have not a clue, this baby should sing/thump (as required) with the right amp settings. PS...I missed out on this fella when Craig had it FS, you're a lucky guy!
5. Hate em meself, can't understand why anyone would want to own one ;-)
6. Pete, That pick guards gotta go......unless you want to start wearing a nice big frilly shirt to go with it...
7.
Staffordshire
As I always suspected...;-)
8. And sold to Mr Kemo.......only seems fair as the Neck originally came from his fair self! And that just goes to prove that its a lot easier to sell a Sue Ryder than a 30th anniversary stingray!
9. Sorry AJ, never got around to it......i'll try and sort some later today.
10. No longer got a need for this little monkey so it's up for sale. Didn't get on with the somewhat chunky Ryder P neck so the neck has been changed for a Squier P bass affinity neck (rosewood board) that I picked up from here. The body has no nicks or dings, the neck has a few small marks but nothing significant. Comes with original gig bag. Would prefer a pick up or close meet up ( based near Sheffield) but will post if I can find a suitable carton. Only looking for £60 - the parts are worth more than that, but a close offer may be entertained if you can pick it up. Sorry no pics, but there's a thread a mile long that shows you what these look like!!!
11. Cheers Jon, Got an audition with an 80s stylee rock band on Thursday...if this hasn't gone by then I might just end up keeping it.
12. Had some interest this time around but nothing firm as yet, so if you're interested.......
13. I've decided to float this one again, on a new thread as the last one had got long and convoluted. I'm off work for a week so I've got more time to deal with a sale or trade but im spending a couple of days in south Wales when I won't be available, I'd rather not post as I don't consider the C & G cases to be suitable for the task. However if the buyer wishes to arrange courier I will try and find a suitable packing carton. Trade wise I'll consider great condition Jazz or P basses, or strangely enough a Ric. I have a bit to throw into a deal for the right bass or will take cash plus a bass of lower value. Pics are available at the linky below, if you'd like any further info or pics let me know. Thanks for looking... http://www.flickr.com/photos/67796052@N04/6169793045/in/photostream
14. Nice one Clarky, glad you got a good result! Mines still at home and had a new pick guard fitted (the original is being buffed back to perfection), not sure whether to put it back up for sale or fit flats to it!
15. Sorry dont have a Jazz to trade...... I miss my old Sterling.
16. Hate to say it but it might be time to explore trade in options........eeeuuueeewwww!
