1. Very very nice, alas my Jazz is red and my Status would have to prised from my cold, dead hands, but have a bump anyway.
2. Oh Nick, don't do this to me.....my 2EQ Ray has no frets and my Jazz has but 4 strings pah.
3. Dammit Nick, this is just torment....
4.
Here is my latest (and probably last) project. Squier body, Mighty Mite scratch plate & neck, Badass II, Wilkinson pups & tuners. Bog standard Squier pots & wiring (CTS pots and better wiring will follow later)
Nice one P. I'm in the process of converting by black Squier P to a Roger Waters. If you decide to part out the BA2 let me know.
5. I use Status Flats on my Ray Fretless4. Nice low tension and good tone, more zing than TIs but a lot cheaper.
6. Another for headless here. Never goes out of tune, don't hit the headstock on the ceiling at those loooooow venues (like I did with someone's Stingray last week....whoops) and the balance is superb. Wish I could afford a 5 string Streamline........
7. If it bothers you that much id get a new one. Theres a number of individuals will make to order.....put a request in the wanted section.
8. Hey 'Show Me' guy, welcome to the forum.
9. I can confirm its been the same in this part of the country. Had a really concerted effort to get into a nice easy going function type band and unfortunately had nothing but disappointment so far. The arrogance of some individuals I've had the joy of auditioning for, has on occasion, been 'interesting' to say the least. Still, here's to a better 2012......
10. I've had my FSR 75RI for a few weeks now, doesn't sound like any Jazz I've owned before....very honky and powerful. Not LPB in this case but Candy Apple Red, very thin coat. Hope you find one, they are kinda special.
11. Still love this Rich, unfortunately I dont have a GB to trade
12. Glad to hear it G, nice when a plan (finally) comes together.
13. Got one of these meself, cracking cab. Price looks on the money, bit cheeky to ask but where did you get the cover from, could do with one of those. Cheers, Mart
14. Wish I had something in your wish list in my sig Nick. Don't care that it's not a year of birth bass for me (I was at school discos trying to dance to Slade when this was built) id still love it.

Sold Mark a classic Bass Doc Torty guard for his P bass.......paid promptly and great guy to deal with. Don't forget to post action pics when it's finished!
16. Sold......that was quick!
17. Ditto, First bass for me also.....paid £60 back in 1981. Laughably poor.....
18. Just bought Pete's Affinity P for a project.....great guy to deal with. Please apologise to your wife on my behalf Pete for her having to endure a MacDonalds!
19. Up is a SR P 3 ply torty guard as made by our very own Bass Doc (Howard). Very light play wear and as Howard is very very reasonable price wise this is offered at £10 plus P&P,
20. Looks nice to me, a RW Ray you wouldn't need to be too precious about. I'm spent up otherwise I'd have had a punt.
21. Very pretty. Great little basses....
22.
It may be just me, but I don't think so. I used to always go to this forum to find some interesting stuff and good debate, albeit sometimes controversial. That's what attracts people, in my opinion. Just lately, I don't see the usual suspects (you know who you are) very often. I recently started a thread that was mildly controversial and was pulled up almost immediately on it. Is it just me? Fair enough if it is, but it mainly seems like stuff for sale and little else.
Maybe we've all become staid and boring or are now victims of our limited capacity to think outside of the box..................................................................................................................... ...........................................................................................................................Bazinga.
23.
If the music is too loud on stage, it affects my balance, and i can be seen wandering/ falling off the side on a regular basis. I now where ear plugs
Ditto.....and I used to live in Birmingham, must be a connection. My main quirk is using my little finger far too much on my fretting hand, or is that just crappy, lazy technique?
24. Had one of these meself, also let go of it because me and 5s don't mix. Easily the equivalent of a Ray 5, for less money. Bump.
25. Now present at chez MTB, lovely bass and Tony's a great guy to deal with. Wish I'd had time for a coffee! My first US Fender in a few years.....hope I don't miss my MM too much cos there's no room for another 4 string fretted in the house ( once I manage to pick up Pete's Precision.........)
