Your old P bass is stuck in the bedroom at the mo and I'm having to use the Ray to get around it until it hopefully settles down. How did you get around the problem with your Shuker P 5 - is it naturally less 'P like'?

But the VMJ hits well above its weight -I for one am seriously considering one if I can ever find house room

I didn't get a bite on my 3band 2005 Ray4 even at £570 recently and it is as close to mint as makes no odds. Needless to say it stayed with me - we all have limits. There is a point when the inherent value exceeds that perceived by potential buyers ^_^

All I can say is that it was well worth the wait, this is a truely excellent bass and I hope that someone will prod me repeatedly with a big stick if I ever try to sell it.....
