  1. Funky Bus - Eternal Erection ( yes, that is a real band!)
  2. A few years back some bloke was knocking out 'Silk Road' Chinese bass strings for £10 per 6 string set. Very good they were, too. Gutted when he disappeared from Ebay....
  3. Yeah, I replaced all the presets with goodies uploaded by other users. There's a lot of stuff to wade through, but some real gems among it all.. Just received an Aftershock a couple of days ago. I really like it, and I've replaced my Big Muff and Darkglass B7K with it. So far so good!
  4. Depends what you want out of it, I guess. 6 patches would probably be enough for a lot of people, so they wouldn't need to expand to 128. However, there's a lot of goodies to be had from the patches that people have uploaded, and lots of fun to be had from creating your own. Plus, many of the C4 patches could potentially cover a lot of the pedals that you already have on your board, which you could sell and recoup your money. The 'Save Scene' function is a bit of a winner for me. It's not for everyone, but when you consider what people are prepared to pay for a bass, it's not that much.
  5. I reckon if the North coast has got waves 6 feet and clean, I could get a decent ride on that! BTW was it £700 for the bass, or a re-string?....
  6. Youtube algorithm served this up earlier. What's this?... dunno...who is she?..... wait up.... hang on a minute.... THAT's Anthony Jackson and Simon Phillips in the engine room... I'll carry on watching and listening. Holy cow! Glad I did, this is immense. I'd never heard of Hiromi Uehara, but I have now. Insane skills and utter joy in her performance. Outstanding!
  7. Okto Nojs/Chromatron is a recent addition to my pedal, along with the Tom Sawyer 2. Some great work there, good sir! Thanks! 😁
  8. SOLD. Thanks for your interest, chaps. 🙂
  9. One man's heartfelt tribute is another man's fingernails-down-the-chalkboard. Such are the differences. I get that someone wants to play along to their departed idol as a reminder of their greatness, but I'm not sure what is achieved by uploading it to Farcebook other than 'look at me'. I don't argue with anyone's right to do that though. Folks vary...
