1. Thanks Binky sir but fretless is surplus to requirements, and I'm covered on Warwicks in general. Cheers anyway... and bump we go!
2. PRICE DROP - NOW £300 Morning Team! For sale is my snappily named Warwick Rockbass Alien Standard 5-String in excellent condition as it's only been used a handful of times, hence my decision to move it to pastures new. There are 2 tiny marks on the very top of headstock as per the photos but they're barely noticeable, hence my struggle to capture them with my camera, but otherwise this baby is good as new. I've installed the straplocks that Warwick included in the box (that they weirdly didn't install at the factory) - one at the bottom of the body and one in the neck heel - so you'll get those ready to rock, along with the original truss rod tool & leaflet manual. I'll also throw in a leather strap and the chunky RockBass acoustic bass gig bag I bought separately, although there is a rip in the front pocket as shown below following a house move - this doesn't affect the protection of the bag at all as it's just the outer pocket so it still works fine, just you'll prob want to fix/replace if you're going to carry this in the rain! This is collection from South London, or I'll meet anywhere in the capital. 3. Got a Zoom B3 from Matt - ace communication and quick delivery, so all gravy all round! Cheers!
4. Mark is an absolute top dude - very friendly and accommodating with superb comms over PMs and texts - took a last min 30min bump in meeting time in his stride too! Can't recommend highly enough. Thanking you muchly sir!
5. A few-nibbles-but-no-bites bump! Still trying to acquire some packing materials but right now this is still collection/meet-somewhere-in-London-only vibes, sorry everyone. Cheers!
6. Final pre-Bay bump! Also changed to the correct '2013' model cos I'm a tool for rushing the original post and tagging with 2014 - apologies!
7. Just a lil bump. Now in South West London, but will happily come meet folks central to exchange. Cheers!
8. Can't post, sorry again Jassbass. Dannybuoy - Warwick necks seem to have narrower nut width although they're a little chunkier in depth than Fender Jazz 5's I've played. This Squier's wider than Warwicks at the nut but got a lot flatter neck though so comfortable in a different way. Weirdly found I get on with Lakland necks over the weekend as they have a narrower nut, even though they're 35" scale! So all very subjective and personal to everyone's style really. Cheers team!
9. A-now-at-a-mouthwatering-price bump! Now £200 for a London town meet-up.
10. Hey man - unfortunately I haven't got the packing materials to post and am moving flat very soon so don't have the time to get them. Sorry sir
11. Thanks Jassbass! This my first Squier so not sure how this compares with the older ones, but it really does play great and I would keep on to it but as my fortunes have taken a turn for the better I'm now mega keen on upgrading to the full US Deluxe series. Cheers & Happy Tuesday!
12. PRICE DROP: £200 Happy Easter Monday Team BC! For sale is my excellent condition Squier VM Jazz Bass V in Olympic White, 2013 model. Bought at the start of the year to see if I could handle Fender size 5-string jazz necks moving from a Warwick 5 with my tiny carny hands (I can!) I've only used it on a couple of gigs and had compliments on the (ace) looks and sounds. It's mega bang-for-buck vibes but now given me a uber GAS for an American Deluxe instead, so sadly has to go to make room. It plays great, but there are some imperfections (being a Squier) that I've tried to show in the photos - basically the worst of which is a slight ding at the bottom of the bass near the control plate that hasn't broken the finish (not me, and I've only just noticed when up close taking photos!), there are 2 small line-marks at the end of the fingerboard, and one or 2 tiny black dots in the finish, but really not noticeable unless your inches away. I've really looked after this and it really is almost new, but just wanted to be totally up front on what you're getting, of course! Full specs on the Fender site here: http://www.fender.co...d-olympic-white Collection only from West London due to zero packing materials, but I will throw in an old Fender gig bag just so it's transportable for the buyer. Sale only please, no trades. Cheers everybody!
13. Bought a wee Gallien Krueger MB200 from Nick and he was utterly marvellous to deal with, and the amp was just as described, well packaged and delivered swiftly = most groovy times all round. To be MEGA trusted! Cheers!
14. Thanks Nick - just ping'd ya an email sir...
15. Evening! Any chance you'd consider selling the MB200 separately... and post it? Cheers!
16. Hey there Mike - it's PM o'clock for you sir!
