    Made in 2004, this is a 50th Anniversary Stratocaster Zippo, made in the USA. It's never been opened or played, (the orange sealing sticker on the back has never been removed), but I'm sure it sounds great, just like a USA zippo should! It's set up great, has no fret wear, no marks and no buzzing on the neck. Just needs some fuel to get your fire burning. There were only 1000 of these made, this one is 255 of 1000.     £75 including secure post. (UK only). I've been procrastinating over this for a while, it's been a faithful bit of kit but has been sitting in a drawer for a few years now as I've stopped playing live. This is due to an injury so I won't be needing it again. I got this around 10-12 years ago, it's well used but every time I plug it in it works and sounds great. Only one thing to mention, (though I'm not sure if it's a SansAmp thing?) is that, since I've had it, when the pedal is first powered up, the switch may take 2/3 hits to turn it on. (though this does not always happen). But when it's then turned on, it switches between on and off with no issues. They are around £199 new, I hope £75 posted is fair.     Boil them in washing up liquid for 20 mins, it gets the dirt and grease out. But be careful as the water level rises if you don't simmer!

    Thought I'd post this as I find it quite bizarre and possibly useful to someone. I have an Aguilar OBP-1 in one of my basses. I needed a compressor so I got the Aguilar TLC. Thing is, when I dug in on the E string there was distortion which was very apparent no matter what setting the pedal was on. The only way to remedy this was to turn the volume right down on the bass, though this increased the signal noise (as well as being annoying). Anyway, I changed the Aguilar TLC for an MXR M87, which is great for me as it's clean, clear, adds no colour and has [u]no distortion at all.[/u] So Aguilar preamp not matched to an Aguilar compressor, who'd have thought?

    I got my first 18v preamp recently, blown away by it. I had been meaning to buy a compressor pedal for some time, this bass ensured that I got one straight away!

It worked for me, it worked for the shop. It makes a bass playable for a test. Everyone where I worked sure did know how to play, and buying and selling is part of the business (of course!).

    From the age of 15 I had always wanted one, then aged 21 a guy I was playing with bought me one (no, not that kind of playing). I found my month and year of birth bass in a lovely Autumn Glo brown. I was well chuffed until I got familiar with it. No where to put my thumb, a top horn which always dug into my chest and a very strange balance when standing. I sold it, dream over. Still love them though, especially with a pick and I always liked playing on the couch with it.
