2.
Mike Lull basses are very popular here, They do a lovely P... I've not had the pleasure of playing one but I understand they are very well put together and nice and light.
+1 (Edit, apart from the not played them bit...I've got two ) Bass Direct have a PJ4 second hand for £1450.
 3. Great news, hope it stays that way for you
 4.
A quick note to say, Daniel was a great guy to chat to and very genuine. Seconded ! One of the best. Good luck with your forthcoming adventure Dan...
Thanks brother, takes one to to know one!
 5. RETURNS - if you have a good feedback record on basschat then I'll take returns within a few days and refund, less postage, if you don't like the pedal. Im sure you'll love it though, it's a killer pedal, I just dont need it It's a Nashville style overdrive, really cool pedal that gives a great soft or thick overdrive. Worth checking out YouTube to see it in action, is great with fender style guitars especially. Only a few months old, selling as I'm constantly using my Fairfield Barber Shop, which is a completely different pedal and more like the old school rough tweed sound that I prefer. I thought I'd make use of both but it ain't happening so off to the market it goes! Price includes delivery. These are £169 new but have been recently discontinued. 6. Only a few months old, excellent condition. Velcro on bottom. Price includes delivery. This is the polyphonic version, which I'm not so sure is great on bass, but is awesome on guitar. If using a guitar, you can strum all open strings and it'll say which string or strings need tuning. But on some basses the low E string can put the pedal into polyphonic mode. Cheers
 7.
The bridge pickup has been replaced already. It's true that techs seem to have this obsession with replicating the problem and troubleshooting it rather than simply pulling out the pots and just starting over! I'm even thinking that the finish could be contributing somehow...it's a satin/finishing paper in feel. Too much static being generated? We'll see how things go on Sunday... Played it thus morning and it was fine btw.
Oh gosh, you said 'static', hope it isn't that minefield mate. I totally agree with pulling it all out and starting over too in situations like this. Really hoping this works out for you pal.
 8.
I've been running so many scenarios round in my head you dont know. Maybe it's our power supply, maybe the wireless router, the rug in the room where my amp is, my phone, the time it happens etc. The problem is intermittent and none of my other guitars are affected. Irrespective, I'm monitoring things for the next day or two then will report back. It's flummoxing and very irritating.
Has anyone checked the wires under the pickup, maybe there is a dodgy attachment? I've had this issue before. It's annoying because some great techs were looking for dodgy connections everywhere, but just as I was about to give up I discovered it was the wires attached to the pickup itself, your wires may have got displaced when being installed or it may be a weak connection? If it's that, or something similar, it's usually intermitent because certain vibrations from you playing it, or slightly knocking it, will cause a brief break in a connection. You may already know all this, but if not focus on how you play next time you look out for it perhaps? Good luck mate, I know exactly what a wind up this can be!
 9. I really like the vibe of these and enjoy using mine, that's a lot of pedal for £45
 10.
Is this still for sale? I shall attempt to PM from my phone...
On hold for you pal.
 11.
Sorry Dan. Bet Lull could make you a very splendid one.
Mmm, now there's a pleasing thought.... I wonder if Santander would mind me missing a few mortgage repayments?
 12.
Already posted elsewhere on the forum but it's good enough to deserve a pic here as well
Cheers Gary, that's all need.... Sunburst, fretless, P Bass GAS!
 13.
I don't want to come over all ho-hum as I profess to not being a fan of these repositories, but if we can just keep it at photos rather than pages of gushing quotes about the basses, then OK.
Who ever read the words printed in Playboy anyway?
 14. There are quite a few pics of Mike Lull basses floating around on BC, I though it'd be nice to get some in one place. I'll start it off with my PJ4 made in 2015. It now has a Lindy Fralin P pickup and a Nordstrand dual coil, with added series/parallel switch. It's a keeper
 15.
To confirm then, these two piggies are mine. Here they are having a lie down earlier.
What a lovely pair Maybe we should start a Mike Lull thread....
 16.
Ta Chili I know you were impressed with that bit of sensible acquisition going completely off-piste due to GAS; so check this out........ http://basschat.co.u...92#entry2823292
That looks great pal, proper classic, exactly what you need to turn up to that gig in style.
 17.
Well looking at your location your really not that far away, I could pop over with the Wals one day and have a blast on the Lull if you wouldn't mind? ...although perhaps that's a bad idea as it inevitably going to lead to me wanting to buy another bass...
PM'd mate
 18.
Used the Phaser, Autoswell, Chorus and Flanger at gig last night.....fantastic sound!
That's great man, really pleased you're chuffed with it
