    The series ii doesn’t have individual bridges either, that’s the later version 1005 etc. I have a Trb 6ii and it’s a traditional bridge.

    Just a casual look at those two side by side photos… definitely the same series bass? The 2nd pic must have the P pickup butted right up against the neck with no space for the truss rod adjustment? Looks to me like the bodies are different sizes?

    The only people who care what you play are you and other musicians, punters don’t know or care. I’ve realised the price tag doesn’t equate to anything other than what you might lose or gain in the future. I’ve bonded with very expensive basses and equally £100 things. Recently took a punt on a broken bodied 6 string for a £100 and that and my £120 53 year old Hofner jazz bodied precision are currently what I pick up to play. My Wal has only left it’s case for photos and a clean in the last 10 years, same with the Warwick’s.

    Many plans floating around my head that may or more likely not happen as they haven’t come to fruition in the years they’ve been there. A non wood headless 5 or 6 (if pushed) string but rarely see them. Possibly take the leap into the world of Kemper and see if it can be the thing to replace all the other things that have gradually taken over what little space I have at home. Some form of home recording set up but that will also need to be tiny. This may be the wrong place but I am in serious need of a huge gear sell off so that could happen (🤣🙄)

    Thanks for the quick response @Andre_Passini! Are all the base plates like this or were earlier ones different. This system is installed on a potential purchase and not sure what the current spacing is, it’s a 5 string and I’ve seen some listed as 16.5mm. If it is too narrow (and assuming the neck can take it) could I replace the base plate with a slightly wider one like the one you posted and are they available to purchase separately? Thanks
