  1. You’d have to really try to damage a hardcase ?
  2. Who does insure ?
  3. I’ve been watching these on the auction site lately. Nice spec. How is it?
  4. Early Trb P’s are for sale generally £1000-1500 range. Great basses tonally and build quality. Nothing wrong with the later TRBX’s either but are more of a budget bass than the older Japanese models. Assuming the neck repair is all good with no issues, snap it up if you can.
  5. Thought I recognised the JINO name and pickup config from somewhere. He has or had a signature range with Atelier Z. Nice looking basses. http://www.atelierz.co.jp/musician_model/jino.html
  6. Ridiculous price for one of these!
  7. For once none. Don’t miss any of them. I can’t say the same for the ones I will be selling this year......
  8. Isn’t Ebay great 😂🙄 Have you tried Reverb? Seen a few Affirmas for sale on there and yours is much better priced. The streamer I have up for sale is approx a fifth of its new retail price!
  9. Welcome!

  15. That’s one of the early models. Shorter scale, single truss rod, neck through and one piece bridge. Great basses even now.
  16. Not sure if the neck profiles changed with the different models over the years? My Japanese Trb 6ii has an almost flat radius with 19/20mm bridge string spacing and 35” scale. Others were 18mm and just under 34” scale. Some were neck through and later models bolt on. I thought the P versions were the same body and neck but with different eq and the added piezo bridge. Can you recall what model you originally tried?
  17. Similarly to @ezbass above , have owned a US Stingray, US Sub, and a Ray34. Hands down preferred the Sub in terms of feel and tone. Quality was similar as I recall. Best value was definitely the Sub, at the time they were changing hands around the £3-400 range. The stingray was double that. The only thing I had to change was the finish on the Sub neck, it was patchy from wear and tear but didn’t like the stock feel so stripped it and oiled it. Much better. As with all of these types of posts, it’s always worth trying them yourself as you may find different.
  18. More specifically a five string P5
  19. Great looking thing. Probably feels great too if it’s anything like other Limelight builds.
  20. Because we all love a picture
  21. Anyone tried one of these yet?
