  1. Look for Michael Manring on YouTube etc. He’s used eBows very effectively.
  2. Wood n Tronics do a movable pickup in a ramp type housing, shifts via a knob on the edge of the bass. Neatest version I’ve seen.
  3. Blind In Safety And Leafy In Love - Cardiacs
  4. 1995 Warwick Streamer Stage 1 Broadneck Fretless in Nirvana Black. Custom built for Musik Produktiv in Germany in the 90’s. Lined fretless ebony fingerboard. Everything as it left the factory. Brass Just-A-Nut 1, Bartolini Humbuckers, 18v MEC preamp. Weight 4.8 kg. Excellent condition. The only marks I can see are on the last pics near the jack socket where some of the lacquer has come away. Can ship (discuss via PM) or happy to meet. Open to cheeky offers, please message. Looking at Warwicks current online pricelist a Masterbuilt version currently would be €7.279,00 !! So this is quite a saving..... Thanks.
  5. Sounds expensive..... looks good though.
  6. Just having a think how the extra scale length would affect the tension/ feel. Probably not much being only an inch....
  7. Scratching Crawling Scrawling - Cardiacs
  8. It’s a shame you can’t purchase the piezo parts Yamaha used on the TRB P models. I did have a bit of a look into it a while back but gave up. After owning an ACG fitted with piezo saddles / East pre I was pleased with the blended tones available.
  9. I’m afraid not. If I was on one of these lists I’d be surprised flattered and probably confused by my inclusion, I suspect he may think the same. I don’t follow many current bands and nothing that would bring me across John Taylor or Duran Duran accidentally so as an average music lover I still cannot recall anything of note during 2021, let alone being best of anything - unless there’s a specific Being John Taylor category. I’ve nothing against him either. I’m sorry I’m starting to think I’m replying to JT (Although I doubt he’d give a monkeys) or this is the latest Rickroll.
  10. Still down the rabbit hole that is Cardiacs. Love the tone of the bass, possibly a Ric with a precision pickup at the neck, but it’s all over the neck and flowing.
  11. Such a random list of people thrown together. Sure some of them are interesting stories but how some them are rated in 2021 doesn’t make much sense to me. Then again these lists are as irrelevant to anything, as much as my opinions on such matters are.
  12. That looks great! Love a well done relic, often the more worn looking the better for me. Any chance of any sound clips?
  13. Thanks just searched for it. Looked nice (flipped the pics as lefty’s always mess with my head)
  14. Mid 90s Streamer stage 1 fretless, customer order for a German music shop Musik Productiv. Great feels, amazing neck profile, ebony board, slim and wide nyom nyom.
  15. Do you think these would work on a 35” scale? Would you be able to measure where the silk wrap starts please?
  16. I haven’t read the whole of this thread, but had a quick look, and searched through Bass Direct’s stock and sold list. I didn’t come across a 30” or 32” 5 string, specifically a Jake or Elwood. Anyone experienced one? Usual questions regarding a low b string etc
  17. Reminds me of a Manne(?) bass. Was also secretly watching, thanks @TheGreek🤫
