A bit of a strange one but curiosity is getting the better of me. Does a P plate even fit on a Jazz body? I don't have a Jazz here to look, and frustratingly I can't find an image on Google. Anyone able to help my OCD?

Looks great except the headstock. Something a bit more tbird-y kinda like they have with the Super P and J models would fit better to my eyes.

Ground breaking eh. Does anyone have a pic of a sunburst Jazz with a gold anodised pick guard they can put up? I have a picture is bass. I have a picture of pickguard. I can't find a pic online of the guard on a bass! Gah. Internet let down shocker! Luckily it's Friday so my whole week hasn't been ruined.

If it works with the bare wires into the battery terminals it must be the connector that's causing the problem. Maybe the battery had leaked and damaged the connections or caused a short in it. Or like you say the wires have somehow been stretched and something isn't making proper contact. I agree it's incredibly frustrating when you've been waiting for something to turn up and it's got issues. Hopefully a new connector will sort it and it's cheaper than return courier fees.

I'm a member of the still looking gang. Thing is tastes and preferences change, so what was the one will likely become another also ran. I believe I'll always be looking for something that may or may not exist. I could have already owned it but just at the wrong time. Perhaps it had the wrong strings too....
