    I don't have owt against the Ibanez, quite like them but never played one. I was expecting something perhaps more exotic. I might have another listen through proper speakers. Forgot Jeff Beck was on - like. Also Hozier - like.

    I watched. Not overly impressed. Enjoyed seeing Weller. Peculiar bass choice from Mr Swift? An old Ibanez? The crowd appeared even less convinced than usual it was NYE, maybe the Beeb cut back on the alcohol budget this year.

    Any of these type of basses available as a 5 or 6 string with 18mm or wider bridge spacing?? I don't recall ever seeing a 6er, other than custom luthier builds and from what I've found so far the 5s all have a narrow spacing. Any ideas?

    If you've ever perused Warwicks site and their spares prices you might see how expensive they are compared to Thomann. Just look at the delivery charges!! You may have more luck going through a distributor than direct.

    Another big thumbs up for Phil Jones Bass Double Four. Fantastic tiny combo for home use as its only 75 watts, I generally have it around a 1/3rd of the volume. Transparent uncoloured sound. If you were the careless type its small enough to lose down the back of your sofa*. * [size=2]possible non factual statement for marketing purposes. Come on its not like Im on commission or anything.
