1. Lovely bit of history and as you say, as rare as rare can be, I'm a warwick fan and I have never seen or heard of these before. How does it play and sound?
2.
Wow very nice,im not normally a pbass guy but starting to see the appeal
That was me for over 20 years, until I played a fantastic limelight and was smitten. It's now my 'go to bass' as they say. Jassbass, I see you going through a few basses, try a P, you really might be shocked At this price I'm tempted myself
3. Thanks for the replies people. ChrisDev - that was what I had hoped, to have most tones covered and even a few different voices to play with all in one bass. At the same time I hoped it wouldn't cover all those bases for fear of GAS!! have you any recordings online ? I've been searching you tube but not really getting what I want to hear, the versatility available. I'm looking at the Triplebuckers and Master electronics. Molan: are there any in stock with you with that config? To everyone: is the standard 5 string bridge spacing width adjustable out to 19mmish, the bridges look similar to ETS which are adjustable but Ritters site gives the spacing as 17.5 or 70mm total. I know it isn't much but I really do prefer 19mm, believe me I've tried narrower and it's just not right for me, must be my flailing hand technique Initially I'll be scouring the usual sources for a used 5er I think. Ideally a Roya, R8 or even a Seal. Possibly a 6er.... But the wide spacing gets a bit silly across the neck. If anyone is looking to move one on at a reasonable price or even to trade please drop me a PM. if there's a Fretless then maybe I'd do a deal on my Wal ....
4. So apart from the cost, quirky deigns (imho) that I'm a fan of, do owners and players of Ritters love the sound as much as the aesthetics? Curious how flexible the triple buckers and Parametric EQ are? Is there a good p tone in there?
5. Is this passive? Is there a boost/cut for each filter? Thanks
6. What kind of playing time do you get using the battery ?
7. Crikey !
8. When I'm in Manchester you're welcome to try my Fretless Wal 4.
9.
I'll measure tomoz Think 16.5 or 17 at most
Thanks man. Too narrow for me unfortunately. GLWTS!
10. Excellent idea!! I should follow suit. Find a favourite bass and fit different strings pickups to the each. Now, should only take the next 30 years to find that "one" Great clutch of Fleas!
11. What's the string spacing at bridge?
12. Not sure what else you need to know - it has the warwick spec sheet with it, that is normally as much info as Warwick would supply. Think I saw this on eBay or somewhere recently.
13. Thanks John. Was it built to your spec or bought off the shelf so to speak? Long wait?
14. In the never ending quest for "The One" I came across Emerald guitars carbon composite acoustic basses. Has anyone tried/owned one? I'd love to hear and try one for myself. I've looked and found just one pretty crummy video online. I think the basses are a fairly recent addition to the guitar ranges. I believe there are or were some dealers but mainly of the guitar gear so no joy finding one as yet. http://www.emeraldguitars.com/basses/
15. It should if the instrument has that voice. These Amps don't colour the sound at all imho
16. Yep another fan here. I'm travelling at the moment and using mine daily. It's awesome. The more I use it the more I love it. Truly ace sounding. Even with a borrowed Korean bottom of the range Spector it's great. I prefer it to my MB CMD 12 P too.
17. I was only looking at that bass on The Gallery's site last night. Stunning.
18. What does this weigh and what's the bridge spacing? Shipped in hard case? Cheers
19. Fantastic tiny amps! Incredible tones come out of these things. Uncoloured amps, hear your basses actual voice. Can't recomnend them enough.
20. I'm ok then, I already have the Fretless Wal and gave up on the geetar when I was younger. phew
21. Lovely Ezbass, lovely. What are you thinking of getting next? I seem to develop GAS for whatever you buy!!
22. Lately I have a t bird thing going on. I bet this is lush.
23. Blimey no chance of recalling the serial number, it was 20 odd yeas ago! Mine had 2 bartolinis and no scratch plate. It was a solid electric blue colour..... Until I took all the paint off and refinished it in a natural oil finish. I remember selling it and then seeing it at a guitar show at Umist for over twice the price I'd sold it for
24. I owned one of these in the early 90's. I've never seen another one since or prior to it. Can I ask where you found it or how long ago? Curious if it's the same one.
