Well the ole tapewounds are on and they are an improvement in feel and terms of noise. Obvious loss of acoustic volume but that isn't a problem.
Still im not sure it's the sound I'm after. Or could be the bad technique
What strings have you all tried and liked?
I have a run of the mill fretted 4 string, it had old rounds on it, and then bronze EB acoustics but they're all too noisy and scratchy sounding. I'm thinking of using some tapewounds because they must be quieter.
Hahaha Fender must've really loved making that order
Yes Hello Pino here, could I order one of your finest basses please, but this time can you fit some proper pickups
Yes that's right, Gibson pickups. Pffft
Very retro aren't they? One of the better performances I've seen over the weekend. ( with dry feet from a very comfy sofa )

Should I mention Michael Manring
If you haven't already, you tube him.
If you're looking for different influences and other worldly techniques then you need to take a look.

Resembles a Tune or Ibanez ergo type model or is it the Ralf someone or other signatures?
Not a bad price to take a punt on if it's your kind of thing. Might be to tough to sell on.
