1. Wow very creative solutions! I'm well impressed. The organic smooth lozenge looking body is perfect with that chocolatey cocobolo.
2. These single cuts are really not helping me!! Remember when you were younger, probably in school, a teenager. There was a girl you'd argue and banter with, turns out it's because you were attracted to her but always denied it. That girls name is Fodera! It all starts to make sense now.
3. Busking eh ? Sounds interesting, solo ? With the modulus??
4. I'm currently suffering with Old DB gas now after getting an EUB ,which is great but it isn't the same as an acoustic. Hopefully that will be cured next week if things work out Still have beaten up jazz GAS, thanks for that Limelight!! Does anyone else find when the current GAS is quenched that the acquisition often loses its appeal and is almost instantly followed by further GAS for something different? Another 1st world problem I'm currently pondering.....
5.
I really shouldn't have any GAS But I do keep coming back to look at this; It was posted by Dazed on the Limelight thread (apols for borrowing your pictures Dazed) But it's just such a gorgeous colour and the wear & tear just gives it a real vintage look ... but maybe I'd go for a P, rather than a Jazz - as I've already got too many of those!
Agreed Marc that is a peach! Albeit a pink one. It isn't mine ( )btw I saw the pics on the cool and classic site. I think it was snapped up fairly quickly after.

SOLD!

What a great looking jazz!
8. Hmmmm can I hang around here and sulk? Would it be worth selling everything I own for a fodera? If a "one bass to rule them all" exists, would it be one of these? I have to admit I'm a bit marmite about them. Sometimes I drool over the MGS and AJ Presentation models. Other times I think they're just a peculiar shape. But expensive to take a punt on one! Although they seem to sell on the pre loved market too. Maybe one day.....
9. Have a look at the new PJB gear coming out it looks awesome and more options for battery operation.
10. You don't see many of those around!
11. I'd be more than happy to relieve you of those elixirs I bought a fretless 5er that came with an old set fitted and was quite impressed with them although I dont know what gauge they are. I know they weren't the usual 30-90s rounds I'd used for years. Seriously, drop me a PM if you want to get shut of them.
12. I can't recall the details but I'm sure I've read that at some point there was problem with necks warping in the early days and Wal replaced them when it happened. Nice Pro One though
13. Nice to see something a bit different. Loving the acoustic(?) behind it
14. Sounds like the way to go to me.
15.
I certainly won't. Just had some correspondence... it may be much sooner than I thought...
Only bloody just! you very nearly lost it
16. Yes they are new, i should've added on the used market.
17. I agree with the ACG comments. Really well crafted, good value and quality instruments. You might find a used Rob Allen in your budget, I'm not sure on the string spacing. Might not have the right growl? Warwicks are 16.5mm on the standard 5 strings. Definately growly and loads of choice. Some of them aren't too heavy Alembic? Pedulla? Zon? I think there's a Vinny on eBay. Not to everyones taste Modulus? Sei? Spoilt for choice
18. BCer looking for his old fretless 5 here: http://basschat.co.uk/topic/262017-wal-five-string-fretless-w3267
19. Bound to be, they've been around long enough
20. You had a look at the status website? There's a forum too that may contain the answers you seek.
21. Now ive watched this a few times FFS have grown on me. That is all
22. That sounds great. Look forward to the pics. Did you notice much difference between the pickups?
