I'm looking at buying a bass in Europe, from a private seller - no feedback available. What can I check to make sure I'm not being done over? Safest way to pay? I've had seller send individual pics I've requested to confirm they actually have the item. Is there are any form of scam protection available ? Any advice appreciated.

If he's so bad how can people like it?? Try detuning your bass and see if he notices

Personally I don't need any signature basses. Surely it's solely a marketing ploy. Aren't all signature models? The new wooden warwick tuners are possibly the least attractive 'improvement' or design feature I've seen. Not for me thanks

I could hear it from home in Stockport through closed double glazed windows so it must have been pretty damn loud!! Agree with the general consensus, the enormous venues around manchester won't be getting my money again. I retired after another adventure in crap noise a few years ago with RHCP at the MEN arena.

These single cuts are really not helping me!! Remember when you were younger, probably in school, a teenager. There was a girl you'd argue and banter with, turns out it's because you were attracted to her but always denied it. That girls name is Fodera! It all starts to make sense now.

I'm currently suffering with Old DB gas now after getting an EUB ,which is great but it isn't the same as an acoustic. Does anyone else find when the current GAS is quenched that the acquisition often loses its appeal and is almost instantly followed by further GAS for something different? Another 1st world problem I'm currently pondering.....
