1. So having looked into this a bit more I've found this same DB sold on BC earlier in the year ...... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/230424-sold-double-bass-34-hungarian-student-model/ With this in mind, does it still seem a reasonable price? Would the work described have been required and affect the price that much?
2. Hi I'm interested in these. Could you let me know the dimensions please Thanks
3. Thanks ,I have been thinking about going with someone who knows what they are looking at. Anyone near Exeter have the time check this out for me? . And then not buy it
4. Thanks for all the replies and advice. I'm still on the fence and looking (but not exactly sure what for ) Any pros n cons on what size to go for? I'm 5'10" and average arms. I guess it'll only be used at home for sometime and I drive a Lwb van anyway so no worries about transporting it. I'm quite taken with this ..... http://basschat.co.uk/topic/242652-double-bass-for-sale/page__pid__2524807#entry2524807
5. Is this any good for a starter ? Too expensive ( for a starter, not for what it is) Is it too delicate or the fact it looks like its lived show it'll last? Oh questions questions
6. If buying hifi gear it's always worth a visit to Richer Sounds. I got a soundbar last year. I'd recommend one with a sub, this difference in bass definition is incredible. There's obviously a loss in low end when the sub is off. The soundbar doesn't reconfigure when the sub is disconnected though. It sounds like you're happy with the Polaroid one you've heard, in a real world setting , not a warehouse tescos or sterile listening room so maybe the decision is made?

Cash price now £950. For the spec that this bass is its a bargain! Trade value unchanged. Found something that I would really like to add to the little collection. So make an offer
8. Isn't Mr Clarks Infamous Alembic Brown Bass a short scale version? He seems to have done ok for himself

**SOLD**

Some interesting trade offers but not what I'm looking for. May be interested in something headless, Or old warwick or even a nice fretless or something with a graphite neck
11. Hi all this is now sold pending. Thanks for the interest
12. Do i need this in my life or is it just gas Does this one have a passive mode?
13. Good score!! I'm sure I was looking at the used page yesterday and didn't see that.
14. Another view is to be aware of the current market. Warwick prices are all over the place. You may find that it's value and your expectations of its value differ greatly. Gas is a terrible thing. You could always try the 'put in a cupboard for a month or two and see if you miss it' method. If you have a jazz that's 'the one' for you. Would you need another?
15. Bought another jazz from matej in the past. Great trader, deal in confidence ! This looks like another bargain.

Haha thanks Phil. It's only money. Give in to temptation. Unlike a woman the ACG will not complain about the football on TV , your laundry on the floor or yet another rehearsal We apologise for this break in political correctness and return now to normal service.
17. Hi Can you let me know the dimensions of the board please. Daz
18. I was really tempted by a fretless zon 6 with a lightwave pickup system on eBay a couple of months ago. It was beautiful and went very cheap, around £1300 if I remember ex shipping and taxes. There was a Basslab on here recently, very modern design but all graphite and light.
19. That's a really nice simple understated bass. Have a bump
20. Where's Warwick .....?
