1. If it hasn't already appeared a USA Musicman SUB. A Stingray in a cheap suit. if you can find one for the right price. I almost had one from crack converters last year for £180 until they realised their mistake..... Although I haven't owned one I amazed how cheaply you can pick up an old status energy.
2. Waaaw totally gutted I missed the early dolphin5 on the warwick forum last week. I dont often go on it as its impossible to use on an iPhone and rarely browse on anything else. Today i had a look on the laptop. Gah!
3. Purchased Dans Hothand 3. Great to deal with and fast delivery. Cheers Dan!
4. Do they have warwick hardware as standard?
5. Shhhh was watching that slyly! Looks like the original pickups and electronics are gone though. Then again try finding another
6. Ummm does he also say its made of metal ? Hey that guy plays a warwick, he's cool, so I'm going to buy one!!!
7. Go for it Kev. I was very surprised how playable mine is. Even the chunky neck is actually quite comfortable although mine is the 'lobe' shape. It looks like the finish or lack of, that wishbass are known for has been nicely dealt with too on this one. And it's cheaper than getting one from wishbass directly. Bargain!
8. Yep totally agree they are fantastic basses, I've owned an 81 fretless since the early 90s
9. It's a bit optimistic. For 4k I would expect it to be perfect! Or am I being picky??
10. For sale across the pond ....... Hmmmmmm http://www.talkbass.com/forum/f126/fs-1999-warwick-dolphin-pro-i-5-a-1053693/ Doesn't look like the seller will ship over here tho, would work out expensive with import duties etc but still
I've said it, I'll say it again: ACGs are awesome! Pity I only have my W&T Zoid and Ibanez Musician to trade... No Warwicks *sigh*
Aww don't get me started on Zoids, I had terrible GAS for one last year!! Came close to getting rid of my dolphin for one. Love the zoid shape.
12. Since I started playing, around 1984 The obligatory catalogue bass, a Hohner or Kay or something. It was white and short scale. It wasn't too long before I had stripped the paint, made a stingray type scratchplate and defretted it. Next up a new Hohner Jack. I remember the advert in a mag, it was shown with a Mesa 400 amp. That was the beginning of GAS, but back then you'd have to wait a week for Loot or something to see what was for sale, non of this Internet malarkey! I found a Larrivee 6 string neck through with Bartolinis. I had no interest really in playing a 6er but a mate had recently acquired an ken smith 6 and I thought I should try one. Hated the colour and again stripped the paint and waxed finished it. Sold that for so little it's painful to remember! Then one day in the early 90s whichever bass magazine was around I saw a warwick dolphin pro 1 for sale in BEM down south at a price I thought was a misprint. The chap in the shop also thought it was a mistake but honoured the price as it was advertised. Happy days! Around the same time I found a wal fretless for sale locally. Have owned that now for 20 years or so and very rarely play. Not sure I will ever sell it as I would never pay the price they fetch now to replace it. By 2000 I'd pretty much stopped playing, bands had broken up and life was pulling me in a different direction. Fast forward to 2012 and the list seems to have gone bonkers. From 2012 to current have owned Epiphone Jack Casady in gold Fender mim 70s reissue Warmoth jazz custom w/ nordstrands Squier silver series jazz modded with mm bridge pup and Basslines J neck pup Squier standard jazz in candy apple red EBMM Stingray active 2 eq EBMM Sub active 2 eq EBMM STERLING RAY Hoyer 70s EB 3 short scale - amazingly versatile thing Wishbass fretless - interesting Cheap jazz copy ACG SC FINN 5er Kaiser Klaus 5 - amazing tone, looks like a cross between a ritter and a warwick all wenge and zebra wood and growl. Crafter acoustic 4 Never yet owned a P so probably should try one but I think the Marlin I played at school as a kid put me off anything P shaped!
13. Phil jones bass does some headphones , I have no experience of them but going off the quality of their amps and cabs I'd definitely want to try a pair if I was looking to replace my headphones.
14. Willie's Nerve Clinic , Vampire Kiss Sounds a bit Donald Fagen / Steely Dan. Good to hear Dirk Lance again http://youtu.be/qlLdc4EXfVg
15. Nice warwick vid with ole Andy Irvine http://youtu.be/3gGtwlQ9iEU
16. I've got three of them with another on the way when I can sort it out...... Who wants to be mainstream anyway!?
17. Maybe now the seller thinks there's a potential sale it deserves a price..... Increase? I'd try the seller again about shipping, it's been there forever he must want rid of it.
18. Not sure about the 4k price though.......... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/301086250818
19. Not all no, never really liked Les Paul's or Teles. I wouldn't say no to a nice Sei like this ( with less strings) Or even a LUD X

Ill try and borrow some scales to weigh it. The neck feels great, it must be something in Alan's design as I'm not equipped with long arms or oversize hands and I had no problems adapting to the scale and I'd only used 34" 4 stringers before. Seems I have developed a preference for a flatter board so the zero radius to me feels very good.
