Dazed

Thanks for all the opinions and feedback I'm keeping the crafter as it was a cheap steal and handy to have lying around, although the initial novelty has worn off and now and I keep ignoring it. If I feel like picking something up I go for an electric. I've found I have to force myself into not going for a favourite to play by removing it from the playing room ( living room as she calls it) I think I've talked myself into finding a jack casady. Bloody hell, new year and already got gas!

I've been tooling about with a crafter acoustic bass which is ok. I keep seeing jack casady basses, which I like the look of. I also quite like Epiphones Zenith basses which seem to be of a similar 'type' Anyone able to give an experienced opinion on the 2? From what I've read and experienced with the crafter there aren't many acoustics that are really usable (volume) unamped so is a semi acoustic as usable to practice on without an amp?

It's only the baby double 4 but it really lets the acg tone shine through. Gives it another dimension compared to the ashdown I previously used.

Unless I loved the look feel n sound of a specific ray I wouldn't shell out the extra for a ray. The sub is close enough to a ray for me and I don't feel so bad when it gets a ding. That's why I sold a ray and will probly keep the sub. Haha probably.....

Spent all night noodling on my acg5 thru this. It really brings it to life, so much richer transparent sound than when it was through a little ashdown. Very impressed

Lets be honest if anyone had the need or lust and required £££ for a Ritter would you really stick it on gumtree to sell??

Seems to me this getting common on gumtree/ preloved. In the last 3 months I nearly bought a caravan, long story, but it turned out to be similar story to this. Also won a bass on eBay and the next day a like for like scam ad for the same bass appeared on gumtree. The giveaway is its always a massive bargain, ie its too good to be true. Saying that the bass was under £300 so not huge sums of money.

Gumtree just bounced me the 'fraudulent ad' response.

Maybe part of the ad was copied from an American ad. I bet chuck had a lot of traffic today! Anyone on Facebook ( I'm not) tried asking if he sold it? Here's why I wondered if it was gen. This was apperently a copy including the serial number. Not a genereic copy but a specific replica of an individual bass.
