The recording thing is a Roland Edirol R-09HR Would the Zoom B2 also be able to record normal electrics?

Hello, I've got a little recording box that I've been using for recording before which I plug into my amp headphone jack. It's very good and the quality is near perfect, however I have to take out the SD card and put it into a computer if I want to edit the recordings and so on. I tried with the same setup, but plugging into my computer headphone jack, but the quality is terrible. Is there a device that can connect my headphone jack from my amp to my computer and retain all the quality I got from my recording box?

Hello, this has probably been done before on here but anyway. I've read/watched different things about left hand technique, and I was wondering if there was any conclusive answer, as some say that having the thumb paralell to the neck is good, some say more perpendicular, some say it doesn't matter. Out of these two positions, which would you say was best? Position 1 Position 2
