1. Got a Marshall 1x15 from the '80s. 250w Celestion Sidewinder. Easy lift with the side handles or Yorkville 1x15 300w This cab was v 'spensive when new. Lighter, but lower = have to bend to lift. or Mate has been offering his Hartke 410XL cab. Best series. Sounds lively.
2. Clean. No box or owt. But v clean. £125 delivered.
3. Okay,okay... ...I'll change it.
4. Is it the churros? It is, isn't it? Should I change my avatar again? I should, shouldn't I? Hmm.... thought it might pick up the Continental market.
5. Now even better value!
6. Sold the 2x10+2x5 combo with this preamp. Veeerrry nysse......
7. Cheap. As in - cheap. Case is worth £125. If it has black back 30s, they are 'worth' £400. If it has 65s, £300, maybe more. Then, htere is the clean cabinetry. Cheap.
8. Well, that went well. Chatty, handled my slightly skewed sense of humour. 10 thumbs up.
9. Did the resonance used to do more than it does now?
10. dognofski gets it, subject to, etc. Workspace clearance turns up a playable, portably dinky, cheap enuff Hohner Jack. Good for a first fretless, project bass, travel piece, practice room loaner, owt other excuse.... Roughish, yes. Playish, yes +. Cheap, yes. Solid utilitarian value @ £112 delivered. Photos perhaps over-highlight the flaws.... Fully working. V/V/activeT&B, active bypass switch. Pliers-and-filler de-fret, not pretty but plays fine. Worst bit is over the body, the rest of the board is much better. Nasty scratch in the top done by clumsy bridge clamp tightening - not quite as bad in reality as the flash makes it look. No battery cover but the battery is nice and tight and has no tendency to fall out. The other 'battery' is the preamp level control trimmer housing.
11. Found the swap listing, so doing this one as a sale. Sorry if it all looks confusing. Moderators: if best to delete one, kill the other.... 2003 Thumb 4 BO with bag/strap locks/wax/handbook £775 - happy to p/x maple board Stingray 5 or USA Precision A few v v minor lifemarks - see photos. 14. Well.... Flip flopping, as usual. Got a sweeeet BO Thumb/bag/can o' wax. Fancy P-ing (6th time around) and the USA RI maple board is calling.... Per the new rools, I rate this @ £800 on the basis that no one has to reach into his/her pocket to fulfil their Thumb fantasy. Aye? Here's some bait...
