It is a dark carpet/Gibson build 4x10. The GP12SMX has been in the line up since Series 6/pre Gisbon/early 90s. This version has an HF horn. There are loads of 'em out there.

Yep - for the V series stuff. Only ever had one. Went with a V8 a coupla yeras ago. The Ashdown is the closest thing now - same maker. There is a cased one on the forum @ £185. But you might find you want to upgrade from bluelines...

If I wasn't stacked with Trace kit... If you do end up eaying, remember to offer trhem as individual pieces. Nothing holds the price down than offering amp and cab together.

Killer cab for about the price of the drivers. A Behringer 450 should get on its knees and thank the lord for the chance to go through that cab.

Can do it for less with a gigbag in lieu of the rather spiffing hard case. Pity to split the set, tho'.

£550 delivered What a surprise this one was. I expected a smooth, kinda weedy sort of something, but this thing is SO powerful, defined and full. A lead bass if ever there was one. More poke than a 'ray! More bottom end than a reissue P! The contoured body sets it ahead of the slab body reissues. Two tone burst. There is one weensie teensie tiny wee mark on the back; otherwise, new condition. Black Fender hard case, tags and such. 'Tsa killer.... They are now £789 with a gigbag. I thought £550 hard cased 'usual' UK overnight insured delivered. Wil send elsewhere at cost. Looks like [attachment=64852:sting_2.jpg] Case is like this, only no big logo on the side - just a Fender plate near the handle. Louder than loud, with full room filling authority. Humps any Ashdown up to 500 watts. Super reliable, yet cheap to fix if out goes wrong. My fav. But I already have two of 'em. Geoff is a star - if a wee biit nuts to be selling this....
