1. If a studio project guy comes back to me, I will talk it up. These are 'must haves' for live recording and 'real' gig prep. Also good for hire. If I was near, I would not be able to resist.... ...and I would add on the 1810 with flightcase (you know the one!)
2. Two funkies...
3. Two funkies
4. It was bought new in the autumn. It is pending follow-through on an offer of £650.
5. If not into swaps, then happy to sell for £55 delivered. ...just that swaps are usually more fun...! It is a superclean condition earlier model. Like this:
6. GONE It was in a local shop and they got £450 quite quickly. Early '80s Tokai Jazz Sound on the go at the moment: Clean as a whistle from the time of the JV Squiers. £500(ish)
7. Black Widow 15" is worth £100 on its own. £250 less adjustment for the cosmetics, methinks. Already have one, tho' - 3rd I've had - all well poundy. If anybody ever wants the powered 2x10 top cab....
8. I've had 2 400w heads. They are big, heavy and awesome. I can't believe the new ones can match them for build quality - and I know the valves won't cut it the same way the old Gold Lions did it. Cost is now around £600 to revalve it with the good stuff. But still way huge.... The 200w - same story. I have 2 old ones that I think are worth the £1500. I would take an old one with a clean set of old British KT88s over a new one, even if there is a re-cap job on the horizon. And mine come with a valve set worth £300+.... Anyway - fantastic tone.
9. I had a fretted one - what a great thing. Got £340 a couple of years ago. Pity Sound Control threw them down the tubes with their stupidly low pricing strategy. Schecters are generally well built, highly playable and top sounding. Maybe not like the '80s strat and tele things, but max bang for buck.
10. Aye - blue does it for me... It is Edinburghy, just a courier awa'.... His £700 target has been added above.
11. Non-forum pal is sacrificing to get a Tbird... One of his offerings: Through neck Schecter lined fretless Like this: Caseless, as Schecters often are... He seeks £300. PM and I will channel contacts.
12. For a non-forum friend who is making sacrifices to a Tbird.... Blue Stingray 4, case Matte neck finish Like this.... He seeks £700. PM and I will channel the contact....
13. There's one on a forum up here for £850.... ...but haven't seen it....
14. No bad fer a credit controller... ...explains why he likes to haggle! Has some good stories, tae.
15. These are great sounding, reliable (until the pre/amp coupler lets go) and add value to any practice room. I've sold 3 in the last year and a bit. The only one to compare for popularity of sound is the Series 6 with horn - suits th ebippy brigade. But the Mark V beats it for grinding under a detuned gtr. Why not swap it to a rooms/studio for 40hrs rehearsal time? Then sell the hours to yer mates (heh heh).
16. This is completely great - except for the part where nobody owns it yet. If mine goes, I'm for having this as an upgrade. I have a sudio lined up, but the pennies are still weeks away......
17. Did the iAmp swop. Cab still available. EA site pics added at the front. (This one is as new and my camera technique is well below par.) Sounds great with... everything I have tried. Bassman 70 to Mesa Big Block. Added detail to the HK BassBase. Opened up my AH250 sound v. nicely...
