  1. The serial photo was blurred. T0136/79/201 Mean anything?
  2. Some pics added at t'top. More can be taken if serious interest expressed...
  3. My optometrist is paying for an opthalmic surgery course, so his prid and joy is on the block if it can generate a good (for him) price. £300 for a 400w 8ohm 4x10+horn with stove enamel grill and matching V-type style logo. Some vinyl cahllenges, as the covering is soft and the V8 wot used to perch there isn't light... (Flight case available from me) [attachment=20927:V8_STACK.jpg] [attachment=20928:V8_STACK_BACK.jpg] [attachment=20935:V_SERIES_410.jpg] [attachment=20933:CAB_PLATE.jpg] [attachment=20934:CAB_VINYL_WEAR.jpg]
  4. Some quick shots of the JV P. Serial is JV69139 Serious enquiries will motivate more/better. [attachment=20726:jv_logo.jpg] [attachment=20727:jv_front.jpg] [attachment=20728:jv_neck.jpg] [attachment=20729:JV_back.jpg] [attachment=20730:jv_tuners.jpg] [attachment=20731:jv_neck_dink_1.jpg] [attachment=20732:jv_neck_dink_2.jpg] [attachment=20733:jv_neck_dink_3.jpg] [attachment=20734:jv_front_dent.jpg]
  5. It is in good nick. Does what it does EBS-ly. Swaps preferred, but will sell.
  6. Yep - a guitar pedal, really. I love mine.
  7. Wattage? Ohmage? Youth wants to know....
  8. Ampeg BA210? USA assembled. Says 200w, but I reckon 125 'Trace' watts. Not the goofy effects processor China thing. Wheels, top handle, side handles. It is a lift, but not as bad as a 4x10 cab... Found this...http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=1739 Or you could have a Series 6 AH200 head on the wee Series 6 1x15 cab. Sweeeet.
  9. I think you should wait until a free listings offer Seriously, if you offer at £250 including free delivery, there is a chance. If I didn't have one already - and a 15+10 - and 4 1x15s - and 4 4x10s - and the non-Trace stuff....
  10. Looked through the magic box - but it maxes out at 44". Typical.
  11. I expect MB1 to pounce on that line...!
  12. Note - needs the fotswitch if you want to work the drive channel correctly.... Footswitch blends, but separate = unstable without, even though there is a panel button switch. Found all this out the hard way....
  13. Plus... ...adding speakers makes more difference to ooutput than adding watts.. ...so louder from impedence drop + louder from more airshift... = way louder.
  14. Mine was being used as an extension cab with one of the old/big Mk4 1x15 combos. Fun lifting to form a stack.
  15. The numbers of times I wish mine had a case.... This is THE BIG CAB BARGAIN!!!!
  16. It is a 1-man lift, but best as a 2-man carry due to the front-to-back dimension. The handles are placed so that it is balanced when carried if you want to have a go, but you have to bend your knees and lift with your legs. A short person won't see over it when carrying.... Shifts significant air, though - and totally worth the lift!
  17. I like these, but can only do a swap thing just now... ...any wants?
  18. Come to Scotland and try one of my 200s. Also have Sound City 200s. If you get the Burman pre thing figured, I have a couple of the 100w power paks. Stereo out thumpness....? You can get my Fender Rumble stack for below the price of a new Hiwatt 200... Hi power valve... ...giggle....
  19. Check specs on top end USA Hartke and let me know if it suits....
  20. £200 is about right for their utility adn portability. Demo alongside anything under £500 and it will win on most counts. They are small and they really punch. They stuff an Ashdown 300 and give the 500 a good run for its money. They have the same power supply as the AH300 - difference is number of output transistors. As always with bass stuff, more in = more out, so beefier sounding than the AH300 (which 'needs' that power). Main reliability iissue is the pre/amp cooupler. Fiddly to get at, but a hardwire fix sorts that stupid clip thing they used. After that, it is contact cleaning. I have two very scruffy ones that I wouldn't take less than £125 for.
  21. I have had: Peterson 100w 1x15 wood and 150w 1x15 vinyl 100w 1x12 and 100w 1x12 extension cab wood 100w 1x10 wood They all use the same cabinet. Never had the flight trim version of any size. All have Electrovoice drivers for high efficiency. Very pokey. Compression is kind of 'all or none'. Top lift is useful with teh compressor. The active tone controls do A LOT so you may have to rebalance gain and output if you tweak them mid-set. Never had any trouble with them. The 1x10 is an all-time great upright amp. (An EV 10 is an all-time great driver.) I wonder where I put my fliers...? If I come across them., I'll post full features and such. I swopped an Eminence into the vinyl 15" and it still sounds great. A+ with a Jazz or Precision, A++ with an MM5.
  22. Way clean... ...worth the lift. ...if any 'lookers' want the 300w powered 2x10 cab that matches this, it can happen....
