  1. I have an '06 'ray 4 H this colour. The photo flash 'lightens' the blue. The reality is much more laid back - quite black in dull light. The last couple of shots are closer to the 'natural' look than the first couple. Classy.
  2. People Per Hour have freelance talent of all sorts. Give the brief and a 'willing to pay' and folk will come back with their terms and timings.
  3. Hi. Can do a decent pub PA. Lots of options. You can come and try stuff and pick what works for you.
  4. The chicken head knobs are a useful change.
  5. And the biggest question of all... Peterson used the same box for the 1x10, 1x12 and 1x15 format. What size speaker? The 1x10 is an AMAZING upright combo. The 100w is for 4ohm out. Native driver is 8ohm, so not full 100w output. He brought out the 150 to give some more oomph. I love 'em. Simple design well made. Sound great. Had loads....
  6. I'd have 'em if up north a bit... ...sigh
  7. Delb's OK. Dinnae fash
  8. The Honey Blonde is MIM The Highway 1 is USA Black - some marks. Can do pics manana. The honey blonde is good enough, I could be happy with a straight swap for my as new 2012 USA Std. [attachment=144018:CIMG1243.JPG]
  9. Fancy a P Bass in p/x? Korean Squier? 60s Classic? Highway 1?
  10. Krispin asked me to send pics of the honey blonde and the white 2012. Sent. Cheers
  11. Sez lead series on the badge, so.... If it is a 320w 1982 cab - yeah! G12-80s. If it is a 400w 1982 cab - yeah! G12-100s If it is a 240w 1960 cab - yeah! G12-65s If it is a 300w 1960 cab - meh G12-75s Wotizzit?
  12. An 8ohm BW in a cab for £50? Cheap at £75 without the cab.... If only I had cavespace for another.....
  13. Two roolz: Don't confuse wattage with power. Don't strangle your sound by forcing it through a minimum of cabinetry. Double speakers is FAR louder than double watts. Ask a repair tech what is built to last. Lots of boutique names have pants build qual. Checking the shops is good, but - as with cars - the depreciation hit is vast as soon as you are out the door. Credible 2nd hand can help. If buying 2nd hand, remember to ask about repairs and mods. If they don't know - get it looked at. Esp. on eBay. As described includes replies to questions, so if it gets 'like that' PayPal protection may save mucho pain.
  14. Needs.... why are there always needs... ?!?!?
  15. 500w into 8 10s @ 4ohms will be plenty. The Ashdown @ 8ohms is a) less efficient than the hydrives and 'only' working the amp @ 375w
  16. £50 is cheap for a 15" driver And you get a box! If it is ply, it is old - maybe never was a tolex model. The originals were painted black for a good reason: tour it, bash it, work it; it comes back, you sand it smooth and paint it black = like new. Clever.
  17. V cool. Pity I am only able to enter a swap scenario.... Fancy a [attachment=141615:tn1_20347.jpg] ?
  18. Solid amp - loud as. Great cab. Cheap good stack.
  19. Anything that can take a keyboard can handle bass. If the speakers have a high enough power rating, they are safe. One of my favourite sounds is a Stingray through a Fender Twin Reverb. Wow! Maybe best ever - Precision through a Hiwatt 100 head through a basket weave Marshall 4x12 with 25s. Some risk to drivers, so just don't dime the head.
  20. Dull and muddy. Hmmm.... Not in my experience. Doug Wimbish has been playing Trace since forever. Try some early Tackhead.
  21. If the cloth front is green carpet, it should have a metal grill behind the cloth. There was a chap in 'wanted' looking for a V series cab....
  22. I can offer a cleaner than MIM 50s Clasic P in Honey Blonde or a handsome but lived in G&L 5500 in bowling ball blue.
